I think I can control myself. I’ve wanted to call Pelosi’s offices and tell them exactly what I think of her from the top her head to the ends of her toes but I’ve contained myself even in that situation. Pretty good, huh?

I believe the only route is the rededication of the Republican Party to its guiding principles. I agree with you that what we are hearing now from Rinos (changing the "brand" by spreading the big tent; in other words, emulate the Dems) is unacceptable to conservatives, including me. It may be that for the unforeseeable future the dumbed-down electorate will reject conservatism however it is packaged. But I'd rather we go down swinging; that is, faithful to our principles, than to be Demonrat Lite. If "The One" turns out to be the unmitigated disaster we fear he will be he may be a bigger boost to Republican (and conservative) fortunes than anything we could muster.

Yes Jim, Freepers are very special people. I can’t call myself a repubican anymore. Maybe I never was one. But last Nov.4th, I offically became simply, a conservative.
I hope the Freepathon is going OK. Seems a little slower than the first quarter Freepathon, but I’m rather impatient.

I don’t need to ask JR where he stands. He’s made it perfectly clear. You haven’t. So I’m asking questions to find out where you stand. You appear to disagree with the conservative ideals being pushed here, but it’s hard to be sure.
