Elizabeth, 59, who is terminally ill with cancer **************** Still? Is this possible? She's been dying of the same cancer for the last 20 years.

I'm afraid I have to say that it seems that the two of them deserve each other.

If I were Elizabeth, I would be making moves to protect the fortunes of my children.
Soon, everything must be shared with the homewrecker. EE is sick and the replacement is Wicked Stepmother who won't look after the interests of the children.
Elizabeth should consider a quick divorce to separate out the assets, so she can be sure that the mistress won't control her children's fate. Then appoint a guardian and executor of those assets. That way, all her estate will be for her own children, not the mistress and bastard.
That may be why hubbie stands around trying to look empathetic. He doesn't want her to divorce, he wants to be a widower.
