If this is the same Kessler, his 2 books I read were very objective, but still full of interesting information (not boring). He wrote a pretty good book about the CIA; it’s a good primer for anyone interested in how the Agency is set up and includes some good stories from the Cold War. Of course, some info. it a little outdated, such as DO is now the “National Clandestine Service”, whatever, in my mind it will always be DO. And the DCI is now the DCIA, due to the fact there is now DNI.

This kind of stuff will continue until We The People wad up several “elected officials” and stuff them into the cracks they have created.
Wow Liz you have done a bunch of research on Deutch who was a humiliation to this country. and should be in prison..Thank you for this, it was truly a stroll down memory lane.
The only solace I take is that when terrorists strike America with nukes, they'll likely take out cities full of the same rats who elected Zero. Hopefully those cities are in "purple" states.
“I do not understand why they didnt treat Bush better”
It seems to be a politicized agency. A politicized intelligence agency is worthless.
The ppl who elected this arse deserve to get what they wished for, they wanted change, they got it...They killed this country and some other country will kill them.
Reference is made to Carter. DCI Turner fired 820 case officers Halloween 1977.Porter Goss is quoted at the end of the article. Goss' cos John Millis called Deutch "the worst DCI for counterintelligence" and called Clinton "the worst president for counterintelligence".
Deutch compromised 17K files on his unsecured home computer logged onto Russian sites.
Millis sucked a shotgun in a bathtub at the Breezeway Motel.
Hussein is systematically dismantling U.S. defenses and inviting our enemies to attack us.
Janet Butch at HS denies any "war on terror" citing instead critics of government spending, abortion, illegal aliens.
Today's abomination with The Plane Formerly Known As Air Force One is as insulting and outrageous as Hussein's fellating of the Keeper of the Holy Sites.
Panetta the great patriot lobbied to get PLAN into Long Beach.
It will be remembered that Brennan's The Analysis Corp. employed the contractor who illegally accessed Hussein's passport file.
While Brennan declined DCI he did give Hussein two grand January 28, 2008 and who knows what assistance in combing the paper trail of inconvenient truth.
Hussein is to CIA as Bush was to Border Patrol.
John Carman (customscorruption.com) was framed in Mexico in 2007 for persistent whistleblowing vis-a-vis the free flow of drugs at market prices for which certain government officials labor tirelessly.
Darlene Fitzgerald a fellow former U.S. Customs agent has testified before Congress, tried to free him but says nothing can be done, that "certain government officials would like to put me in a cell next to John's".
Valerie Plame, anyone?
Hussein dropping charges on the Cole mastermind, punishing CIA for uncovering Al Qaeda Bombs in Hollywood, as the sequel to Bush & Sutton cover for Aldrete-Davila and his shadowy upstream, ultimately Vicente el Zorro.
A wilderness of mirrors. Revealing treason at the highest level.
And don’t we all feel safer now? (/snic)
That whole episode was an exercise in treason. He never even got a slap on the wrist for his atrocious crimes. Watta POS he is.
the CIA will recover, when the DIMocRATS lose BOTH houses of the congress in less than TWO years.
free diixe,sw
Most government bureaucracies are stinking with liberals. The CIA is no different, and most of them will probably love Obama Mugabe not matter what. They just won’t take any chances when it comes to their careers or liability.
I think you have nailed this POS quite succintly. I cannot describe the visceral disgust that exists.
