My husband has been taking curcumin too since being diagnosed with melanoma almost a year ago. No evidence of disease now. He says he just feels better in general since taking it. I praise God for his continued good health and am always interested to hear stories like yours. I’d be interested to know whatelse you are eating/taking if you care to share!
I’m thinking of buying a few pounds of sodium hypochlorite just in case the Feds ban MMS. Is is verboten in Canada and Australia.

This probably won’t concern you, but be sure to let women and elderly know that excessive zinc can interfere with the body’s absorption of iron and copper. I take a small dose of zinc at night every o=third day. Too much zinc could make women or those prone to anemia to have anemia. Copper is used to help in iron metabolism, so these three minerals need to be balanced out, although I slightly increase the zinc if there are sicknesses going around.
thanks for the tips everyone.
Look into NAC, which is N-acetylcysteine. There are studies indicating enhanced immune function, as well as positive effects upon bronchitis.
After first reading it, I put my 92 yr old bed-ridden mother on Vit D and she has had fewer upper resp infections. I told her doc about it and noticed her making notes in my mothers records. Mom has been hospitalized twice in the past with pneumonia but not recently.
I've not been conscientious lately but I'm putting her on 5000 today!...and taking it myself!!!!
I take olive oil and oil of oregano on general principles like several others on this thread, but neither has demonstrated significant activity against influenza, AFAIK.
OTOH, have started D3 at 4,000-5,000 IU/day based on the Cantrell article ( cheap and worth a try). Noticed that W-Mart has D3 gummies for the kids (500 IU).
The NAC, resveratrol and curcumin are still in the shed along with the big T and another antiviral.
Meant to say also that I’m not aware of a study demonstrating zinc’s efficacy against influenza.
Thank you!
I think you might be thinking of Sambucol, which is a form of elderberry. Very potent anti-viral.
I completely agree with your assessment of Olive Leaf Extract. I had the flu earlier this year. While most of my neighbors took 2-3 weeks to recover, I was better in 4 days. I took Olive Leaf Extract 1000 mg 3x a day. I also took elderberry syrup.
I haven’t been on antibiotics in years, and I attribute it directly to taking Olive Leaf Extract when I get sick.
In other words, instead of being miserable and putting up with the rather noteworthy, pungent aroma of it, if one indulged in it directly oneself, one would build up a psychological resistance to that unpleasant aspect and hardly notice it at all. You have to be a participant of it to weather it. Strange logic but it works.
