Now that everybody loves us DHS can turn their attention to the real threats.
I'm wondering how the sales information from a rather small transaction got into their hands.

They think 1000 rounds is large-scale? I’ve never owned one and from reading this for a few years, 1000 rounds is a day at the range.

Shortly after the purchase, he received a visit from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, whose interest was apparently piqued by a large-scale purchase of that caliber. BS
I've purchased more than this in the last few weeks. No 'visits' from DHS. Last shipment was 3K of Lake City 5.56 and 2K of 38 special
This does not pass the smell test.
