“...few well-trained men is all it takes.” Isnt’ that what Alinsky was saying?
“...nane one...”
Aryan Nations (actually a criminal gang)
Christian Identity Movement (Tim McVey believed he was acting on their behalf)
The Cross, the Arm, and the Sword of the Lord (abv. CSA; a gruop of self-styled “unreconstructed Rebels”, many of whom show very little knowlege of the history of the Confederacy or the War Between the States. Supposedly overlaps with the CIM.
and those perenial favorites...
The American Nazi Party
and
The Ku Klex Klan
both of which seem to have had more undercover FBI agents than on the roles than committed members.
This list dates back to the Clinton era, when I was an officer in the MD State Defence Force, and we were alerted to watch out for “right-wing-nut-jobs” trying to join our units in the mistaken belief that we were some kind of anti-government militia. I’ve not heard of any of them being active in this century.
VietVet
So I guess in this guys mind a Boy Scout Troop, headed up by a Vietnam vet, going to the gun range to work on the rifle merit badge are more dangerous to the USA than a bunch of ELF arsonists torching houses they don’t like.
With a name like “BLOW”, I’d rather not challenge him to anything.
I guess this guy doesn’t consider moveon.org a hate group. I do. Obviously he is a typical leftist working for a failing newspaper that hopefully will see him out of a job.
Now, that is one giant whopper!
Consider ELF, ALF, PETA, ACORN, GLAD -- everyone of them hate groups by any reasonable definition.
And each of them has adherants several magnitudes beyond anything that the KKK or Christian Identity Movement might muster. And, while conservatives rightly denounce such organizations, the left won't utter a word of reproach to the above extremist groups.
For that matter, the premiere hate group on the planet, Islamofascists, are hardly right-wingers.
Mr. Blow is not only a rabid lefty, he is an idiot.
The man is a credit to his paper.
I am a right wing extremist, because PinkObama tells me so...
Or is it the Times...
Ya just have to ask yourself, how in the world did Blow get his job...
never mind!
Since I’m being accused of being a racist, then I see no reason to not be a racist.
Therefore, as a racist, I can discount Mr. Blow because he’s black. Thus his opinions have no merit, since he is a person of color.
It’s hard to resist the contradictions of knuckleheads like this.
Klu Klux Klan are/were DEMOCRATS...
Hasn’t the NYT gone out of business yet? I know having the anchor of the Boston Globe tied around its neck isn’t doing it much good.
Say goodbye Pinch.
As for "hate groups", any group which rejects leftist, socialist ideology or questions federal authority is a hate group.
It won't be long before we will be referred to as "potential domestic terrorists". They will call us stupid, racist, "fundies", and try to tie us to white supremacism and plotting treachery. Just ask the DHS.
I have a conspiracy theory to this one...I believe that O has hired all these morons intentionally, so this way he doesn’t get questioned.
He is laying the groundwork for a complete takeover. He is making sure he has no adversaries...or, what ever adversaries there are, will be rounded up!
Then, his master plan of having everyone subservient to him will take place.
[According to Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center, Many white supremacists over the years have pushed their followers to join the military and enter either the special forces, where the training is judged to be the best in the world, or the infantry, where you will learn the skills necessary to fight the coming race war.]
How did Mark Potok (Blow’s source) acquire this information? Just by reading a paragraph about him, he doesn’t need any information. This guy defines people who want immigration laws enforced as being “white supremacists”. Since a majority of the U.S. population want immigration laws enforced , then according to Potok considers most Americans are white supremacists. If we accept his definition of what constitutes a “white supremacist” we can see why Potok could conclude with a straight face that military people tend to be white supremacists. But so would most bus drivers, bartenders, machinists, plumbers, cheerleaders, ...
Yeah but that’s only white people. Not necessarily. A black guy living in South Central Los Angeles sees his good paying job as a baggage handler at LAX dissappear to an illegal alien. His attitude would probably be that of Potok’s “white supremacists” (only more so). Well, I guess even Potok would shrink at calling him that. He would have to settle for the less inciteful “hate filled nativist”.
Blow is black?
I thought he was stupid.
While I'm not familiar with most of the names you listed, I have a suspicion that they are similar to this one. The political Left loves to paint Nazi's as "right wing", but The American Nazi Party is Socialist (Left Wing), just like the original Nazi Party. So that one flunks the test.
You, yourself, pointed out that the Aryan Nations are actually a criminal gang. Not exactly Free Market Capitalists. Plus, most criminals are Democrats.
The little that I could find on the Christian Identity Movement, makes it sound more like a nut-bag religion, than a political movement. Thus, it would be difficult to describe it as either Left or Right.
Just because you tag something as "Right Wing", doesn't make it so. I don't see anything on your list that compares with the actual hate groups on the left.
LOL, i think i am in an alternative universe. If Bush was in office and they put out a report suggesting left-wing terrorists, the NY Times would of had a cow.
