Slightly off topic, but I prefer to call it, “Planetary Warming,” and, “Planetary Climate Change.”
Think about it: “Global Warming” makes it seem as if the Earth is this tiny little ball, like the globe on your desk. But the Earth is huge, and is a planet, not a globe.
Just like, it’s not rainforest, it’s a freaking jungle.
Not “wetlands,” it’s a freaking swamp.
He’s not “homeless,” he’s a bum.
The use of the word, “global,” is a manipulative device used to shift the imagination into picturing our planet as this tiny little fragile thing that sits on your desk.
Just using the term, “Planetary Climate Change” makes you grin just a bit, because a planet is HUGE, and of course its climate changes. If we can shift the terms to “Planetary Warming,” and “Planetary Climate Change” (more accurate than “Global” anything), we will bring things into perspective, and drive the left nuts to boot.
It’s not a “Globe,” it’s a freaking PLANET!
Don’t confuse Congress with facts. Their minds (I’m using that term rather loosely) are made up.
What—from that “right-wing network Fox News”?

I like Earth, the name of the planet, better. Even planet is impersonal, not like Earth or Mother Earth as they like to call it. Second choice would be world, inferring habitation.

It might be. It might not be. It might be BS for that matter. Most animal populations fluctuate over time. Pretty slim pickings on which to base a catastrophic scenario for the whole world.
What can we do to STOP Global Cooling???
Agreed. The EPA just decided to regulate greenhouse gasses. Game, set, match.
Do not forget the American people have the right to be stupid. In the case of Global Warming and Climate Change they are excercizing this right to the fullest extent.
Somebody needs to get down there and start harvesting it. "Antarctic" bottled water would put Perrier out of business so fast, it would make your head spin.
Not to mention "world"...because as everyone knows:
"He's got the Whole World in His Hands"
