His “one mistake” was TARP, and TARP is the acid test.
It still sticks in my mind that after Sarah Palin joined the ticket, it was briefly ahead in the polls until Hank (the Bank) Paulson pulled his “September Surprise,” and gave us TARP.

It should come as no surprise that disingenuous inside-the-beltway types would try to weasel their way onto the tea party bandwagon. Still, the gall of this guy Barrett is almost unbelievable.
