If you remember your history, the famous satire by Jonathan Swift, A Modest Proposal, suggested that Irish children be eaten to save resources. That’s just about where the pro-abortion movement seems to be heading—except this time there’s no satire about it.

It is truly horrifying that we live in a world where the most unimaginable becomes reality.

Somehow they insist that, against conscience, non-aborting doctors must refer to abortionists. But will abortionists ever ask their clients if they would like to try listing their upcoming baby for adoption rather than killing it in utero? Sauce for gander does not seem to be sauce for goose.

Such as not being politically correct to tell single women - If you don’t want or cannot afford to care for kids, keep your damn legs shut or get on birth control if you can’t control yourself.

This line of thinking extends to Seniors as well. The statists believe that Seniors have outlived their usefulness in society (remember Jocelynn Elders?) and need to do us a favor and DIE and leave what they have to the Government, so these sick hating statists can TAKE those resources in the form of Government programs.

Exactly, there are millions of couples who are willing to do anything to adopt a baby.

The left loves to talk about how adoption rates have increased, but they fail to acknowledge that nearly all of these adoptions are from China and Eastern Europe. For all intents and purposes, there aren't any babies in America to adopt.

How about placing the other half of the blame on the deadbeat dads?

Oh, wait. I forgot. This is FR, where every problem in the world is caused by women.

The law does allow for collecting child support (not abortion payments) from non supporting fathers.

It’s beside the point. Over 90% of these cases are not rape, and most of those are shack-ups without benefit of marriage vows. This means the woman could and should say no but didn’t.

Why not private adoption? This would produce revenue for the Mom....

The adoptive family would pay for her medical, food and boarding.....plus a fee....

Death versus life......

The culture of death isn’t interested in adoption, they want blood.

To “Bonnie Erbe” I would suggest that she perform a super late abortion on herself and make room for this innocent child. In fact Bonnie’s will could make it much easier for this whole family if she were a truly caring and thoughtful human being.

It’s appalling to see the shift in pro-choice attitudes that’s accompanied the worsening of our economy.

Bull, it shifted with the election of Obama.

Unfortunately I know....

The question was more of a musing, maybe rhetorical.....but still I had to state it.........

I’d infinitely sooner have Sarah Palin’s “progressive” than Obama’s.

" This means the woman could and should say no but didn’t."

AND this means the man could and should not attempt to have sex with the woman.

It takes two to make a baby. Blame the women all you want - as long as you blame the men, as well.
