My response:
Water and carbon dioxide. What we breathe out. What plants take up.
I propose less bureaucratic hot air. May they begin by turning green due to holding their breath.
The error is in treating the Earth and our atmosphere as a closed system. Of course, it’s not. The Sun exerts great forces on us. The moon even causes the tides. There is outgassing into space. There are buffers in the land, plants, and sea.
The EPA can begin by banning the addition of ethanol in gasoline. Burning ethanol produces over twice the CO2 as its gasoline equivalent.
There is not now and never has been a plan of any sort to reverse global warming - no evidence except to the contrary, no experiments of any sort to prove any hypothesis, no proven science whatsoever other than political.
This is simply racketeering on an international level.

No kidding. It was a vote between the lesser of two evils. That’s why Rush and Hannity are pissing me off. They keep saying if we pull in 3rd party then the dems win and republicans lose. That may be true. But how long do we have to put up with RINOS just to stop dems?
And the rich will be able to buy their carbon credits, and the poor and middle class won’t.
I’ve been struggling too, whether to keep “fighting the good fight to the end” or letting them fall. This is so tiring. It wouldn’t be so bad if SOMETHING went our way once in awhile.
That is scary. Will my grandchildren just be “worker bees” and dispensable at any time? Will they know nothing else than serving the ONE? I will fight with my last dying breath that that does not happen.
CO2 is a trace element in the atmosphere, with the latest estimate being about 380 parts per million. Water vapor is the most common greenhouse gas. Without greenhouse gases, the Earth would be too cold for humans.
But ask anyone if they think greenhouse gases are bad, and 99% will say “yes”, because most people are ignorant of scientific facts. Obama would like to keep people ignorant, so he can get “cap & trade” taxes. Those taxes, which would easily be several hundred billion dollars a year, would kill our economy.
Well, what is needed is a widespread finding by the public that the EPA, along with much of the rest of the Federal government is a threat to public health and safety. The yoke of government oppression becomes heavier every day.
