I think the 4th is going to be huge....but there we be others....it’s just the beginning
A July 4th protest would be the best. Too many can’t attend on a work day. And it would also push the point that this isn’t just about taxes. It’s about UNCONSTITUTIONAL government - our politicians have run amuck & it’s time to bring them to heel!

I didn’t attend yesterday’s parties, but I am already looking forward to the 4th of JULY!! Woo hoo! What better way to spend the holiday? I can’t wait.
As I said on another thread, the best thing was just being there physically and seeing and knowing other people who think like you. I believe it’s called ‘bonding’.
The left has been doing it for many many years. Leftist demonstrations gave the participants a feeling of exhiliration and presence; and now we are doing it for a GOOD cause.
I think it will start growing fast once that wonderful feeling of bonding has started.
People have complained about poor turnout from conservatives at demos for years; but once it gets started, you meet and know others, it will really take off.
I think it is pretty bad when hundreds of thousands of folks rally for a protest against your administration's fiscal policies... especially when you only been in office for 3 freakin' months...
Obama can keep ignoring us... but we are going to get bigger and louder...

I was at the Boston Tea Party, Boston, MA yesterday. It was a wonderful, inspiring day! There were some ~1,000 people in attendance. I'm hoping there will be another event in Boston on Independence Day! I'll be there with boots on if there is!

I’m glad we were successful....at getting a few hundred thousand out in the streets. Will we do more than try to get the attention of the MSM next time?

Has anyone seen one mention today of the tea party on CNN’s website? Even on their back pages? I haven’t.
I just checked. CNN is a bunch of cry baby, un-American, losers.
The word is getting out, Jim. I told several folks at our tea party about FR, they were intrigued. New tea party forums are sprouting up today, and I suggest to all Freepers, join the local chats that are now surging, tell them to check out FreeRepublic, so they can feel connected. Most are brand new to conservative activism, and this site is their Holy Grail.
