Yes, he is a great personality. I think he sometimes is a little too protective of his overall image and panders some, however he does a fairly good job.
He said, more than once, that “this is not an anti-Obama protest” however - to many people there, that is exactly what it was and he knew it.
He got Michelle Malkin on the phone to talk to all of us. The rest of the speakers were really pretty good, too.
I had my daughter there. One of the event staff was talking to us and I asked if I could take his picture. He said, “I look like Dick Cheney...you could tell them you got a picture of Dick Cheney.” Then he turned to my daughter and said, “You probably don’t even know who Dick Cheney is, do you?” She looked at him cock-eyed and said, “Huh?? Of course I know who Dick Cheney is.” I told him that even though she attends public school, she DOES have parents that teach her at home, too.

Yep, at the beginning - Mark Davis announced that the police asked that we not have sticks or posts on our signs, so lots of people began taking them off their signs and taking them back to the garbage. There were a couple of guys, too, collecting them.
I saw no trash or wrappers or bottles and cans on the ground at all.
This one made me chuckle.
There was actually 5 there. The guy holding up his sign had another next to him... whose sign I couldn’t understand. They were run off by the group of “I am John Galt” gents who were scary-muscular and got in their face :)
I sure didn’t get a chance to see them. I wish I had. Oh well, I’m sure it was easy enough to run 5 of them off...good for the “John Galt” guys.

I just learned. This is what I did. 1) Create a flickr.com (or similar) account 2) Upload the pic from your camera to your computer 3) Upload the pic from your computer to flickr.com 4) Right click on the pic in flickr and select "properties" 5) Use "cntrl C" to copy URL of the pic to clipboard 6) Post on Freep using

obama not aware of tea parties? He spoke yesterday he was asking his tax committee to review and simplify the tax code.
NOT TRUE! He told the committee to review where he could get more tax dollars and get back to him at the end of the year. Of course, perfect crisis of his cabinet not paying their taxes, he can now it was because of a complex tax code and he will fix it. As he raises taxes galore. Oh but look I got rid of this one, so that hike means nothing.
Yesterday on CNN, I could not believe the gall of Obama’s tax advisor. When the cigarette tax was brought up and that it hit the poorest, the guy goes but they can buy a home and get a 8000.00 tax credit, they can go to college and get a tax credit after doing community service, they can get a 400.00 tax credit.
WTH does that have to do with being poor? First of all if they are low, poverty level how can they afford a home right now? 400.00 will just pay for a 1/4 of tax hikes in California. And maybe they cannot afford college right now either.
They are all slight of hand card dealers.
people have so many great stories to tell. Its a wonder conservatives didn’t start doing this a long time ago. We need to keep doing it, this country needs to know the truth

Now for all you black helicopter, tin foil hat types...there were several TV news trucks there from all the major Dallas channels. All trucks were clearly marked with station names but one. The one that was not marked had a pan/tilt/zoom camera mounted on the truck with a satellite uplink. They were filming from inside the van (no remote cameras that I could see). See if this looks suspicious to you...just say'in...
It’s obviously an out of state van, because it doesn’t have front plates, which are required in Texas. Hmmm.....
