Does he have any idea what a dumb ass he will look like if he lets these guys in a lifeboat escape

I think the dumbass horse left the barn a while ago.

And I don't blame the affirmative action marxist crypto-muslim from Kenya for leading the country like an affirmative actiont marxist crypto-muslim from Kenya, but I do blame the SOB's that voted for this MF.

I blame them with extreme prejudice.

And they are all around us.

Exactly, and although he was misguided I do not
think he was this awful. Obama does not care, he
is just gonna do what what he wants regardless of
advice or the consequences.

Even if the lifeboat flipped, the seals could then take over as it is not possible for a pirate to fire at them once they are dumped in the water.

The lifeboat is fully enclosed and is meant to withstand being flipped. It's not an open boat.

Ordered pizza? He’s probably sent his St. Louie Pizza chef on his way to Somalia by military aircraft already.

Guess (when it unfortunately, happens)which political party will deem that “too much for the American people to see”, and will give us a vanilla story about it. Probably on the same news day when something BIG happens, like the new White House Puppy arrival or some similar garbage story.

“Does he have any idea what a dumb ass he will look like if he lets these guys in a lifeboat escape under the noses of 2 or 3 US warships, w/helos?”

He's not worried. The corrupt media has his back and will spin it for him. They got him elected so they believe the have a continued commitment to make him look good, so that they continue to look good.

Sorry folks, a little un-pc here. GE brings good things to life! One captain lost for thousands of pig pirates shi**ing their pants, is it worth the cost? Regrets to the captain's family, and they will hate me for this, but sometimes you just have to throw your hands in the air, and declare it the fortunes of war. click here for free image hosting

How bout 2 navy seals with night vision goggles come underneath the both and end the pirates lives in the first .5 seconds of engagement. This is getting idiotic.

I wonder what the prevailing wind/currents are ?

Article says Sources added that, contrary to earlier news reports, the pirates had fuel on the lifeboat and had used it to move within 20 miles off the African coast.

Well as I said, I am not Navy, but I doubt that if the boat were flipped that the pirates would have much fight left in them.

Especially if you flipped it several times.

“What? is Obama ordering them fuel now?”

“I’m surprised he hasn’t ordered pizza for them.”

Mayor Greg Nickels did exactly THAT for the WTO protesters who trashed downtown Seattle.

Now he’s “going to run for re-election on my record of achievement.”

Apologies for the thread drift.

Or got it to stand with the open end down, so that contents all fall out into the water. (Haul down with submarine)

Given that it is a fully enclosed boat, that might not be an easy thing to do.

Even so- I can see no reason whatsoever why the lifeboat couldn’t have been immobilized by a swimmer fouling the screw (propeller) with a few yards of netting, or just detaching the screw and letting it fall away into the depths. Fouling the screw could have been done absolutely silently, without alerting the pirates and risking the captain’s life. Navy tactical combat swimmers use closed circuit SCUBA gear, so no telltale bubbles. No risk in and out.

If the pirates are alowed to get our Captain ashore, this will be a repeat of the Iranian Embassy hostage debacle.

And for not protecting Americans against terrorists, Obama will have to be impeached.

His bow last week to the Saudi king showed where his true sympathies lie. So has everythg he has done to weaken this country and to embolden its enemies since 1/20/09.

It is not a matter of incompetence. It is a matter of his anti-Americanism.

We can not abide an anti-American President.

We’re the bosses of this country, not the clown in the White House or those 535 dopes in the Capitol building.
