Even if conservatives got back in in 2010, i think it is still going to be disaster. I feel that country is going to collapse and then be rebuilt to what is the question.
I certainly see violence that will put the 60s to shame. don’t really know

"Bush never bowed to the Saudi king. He lowered his head so the king could place a medal around his neck."

like this?

Oh my G-d! They’re making out!

(That’s what you’re suggesting, right? Because there’s no bow there.)

A kiss is so much friendlier than a bow.....

I don't get your point. This shot is a mid-kiss on the cheeks greeting.

That does NOT represent subservience like bowing to someone.

no it’s not a bow but it’s no reason to love Bush either.

Going hand in hand is done among friends, at best equals.
Bowing down is a sign of submission.
Furthermore Newt wasn’t referring to the hand in hand, but suggested that Bush was bowing down when lowering his head to receive an award.

Actually, I have read that holding hands in this context is respect between equals. Bowing is a sign of fealty.

Bush isn’t the president anymore. And Bush never bowed to the Saudi King. Using a thread about Obama’s display of subservience to a Saudi Royal as an excuse to remind people to not love Bush reeks of leftist distraction and deflection tactics. Stop acting like a troll, if you can.

And we should give a damn about what Newt says because... why?

I’d sure rather have kept Bush than to have this Muslim. At least Bush didn’t gut the military and defense. I didn’t agree w/Bush about everything but at least I never felt that he hated the country of which he was president.

According to Parade Magazine who named King Abdullah one of “The World’s 10 Worst Dictators, he is 85 years old. I agree, helping someone after almost falling is quite different than bowing.

LGF is a joke now. Just skip it and go to JihadWatch for the good stuff.

I agree about the disaster. The laws being passed, the constitution being trampled on, the rights being taken away....it would take years to undo the damage, if it can be done at all.

In order for the conservatives to get back in, the media has to be reigned in...don’t know if that’s possible right now.

Universities, high schools, elementary schools...lots of brainwashing going on...right out of the communist manifesto. What will it take for people to wake up on their own?

His smear of Spencer and Jihadwatch wasn’t a good job of anything. It was outright defamation.

That was my last straw with LGF. The place is dead to me now.

This is exactly how I feel. I used to recommend LGF, no more.

Yesterday on the forum for our local paper, I mentioned something about Obama’s remarks about the US not being a Christian nation. Some woman responded with some alleged quote by John Adams in some treaty, where Adams is supposed to have said the same thing.

I decided to do a quick search of my own and I was astounded with the number of books that have been recently written on John Adams and the other founders and their views opposing Christianity. The left has been very, very busy re-writing history.

Yup, and that’s what I’m afraid of.

All of us who were awake will hurt too.
