Per WPXI in Pgh; Diane Richard, public information officer of Pittsburgh Police Dept., 5 officers injured. She would not confirm any loss of life or severity of injuries. Pray that they are wrong on the deaths...but in conflicting reports they are still saying three Pgh Police dead.
This was a response to a 7a.m domestic call. Next presser at 3pm w/chief of Pgh PD.
Richard Poploski (sp?) perp. WPXI interviewing a HS classmate right. He is surprised/shocked by all of this. He was smart kid; maybe something happened in military (per his friend) being reported as an ex-marine. No knowledge of druge use either.
Alot of Pgh. Police and Fire dept live in Stanton Heights neighborhood. It is a nice,nice area.

I heard the reporterette saying that it was neighbors saying it “sounded like” an AK-47.
Richard Pavloski(sp) 23yr old dishonorably discharged marine living on disability.
I’ll bet his disability is that he’s mentally ill.
Showing an aerial shot right now; three Pgh PD cars crashed infront of the house. Back to report of 5 officers injured; 3 dead (possibly...prayers that this is wrong).
They now have a bomb robot on the scene.
Poploski (sp) lived in the house w/his mother. 23 years old white male; former Marine; attended North Catholic HS.
Ray deMachay (sp?) a Pittsburgh Police SWAT support officer; stating this is the most weapons fire he had ever been involved in. Calling it a fire fight.
Pgh Police ran the streeet addresses and called each home on street; telling them to ‘shelter in place.’ No way to evacuate too much fire coming from perp.
Officer will not comment on number of officers brought to scene. City, county and state equipment used at scene.
He would not comment on injuries/fatalaties.
I’m not surprised that he won’t speculate until he has accurate information. I’m sure we’ll know soon.
One of the reporters said that the 4th officer had a wound in the hand. I wish they wouldn’t say anything until they know for sure. Reporters routinely repeat rumors, I find it really annoying.
The military doesn’t give dishonorable discharges for mental illness. My Ex-brother-in-law convinced the Navy he was depressed (No respect for the filth he is) and was discharged as Honorable under Medical Circumstances.
While I pray for the family of the police I’m waiting for the reaction to this 2-fold event.
Just wait for the anti-gun, anti-military knee jerk reaction to this entire situation.

I live in Western PA. The murderer is an ex marine whose friend claims he was upset at the current direction of our government. The friend is claiming that the murderer is upset at his rights being taken away by the current government. This is what the news is now reporting locally.
Three officers have been killed. Two more officers have been injured.
I believe that these mass killings will be used as a tactic to impose gun control. It seems there has been a convenient flare up of them since Obama’s been in office.

On wxpi...his cousin got him to surrounder. Talking to a friend on scene; talked to him on the phone at 8:30ish...he had four firearms; poploski told him ‘he was going to die today.’ Per friend, on wpxi, lived w/mom, domestic disputes; he felt his gun collection was going to be taken. He was wearing a bullet proof vest.
Friend talking politics right now; sounds like Poploski snapped about fear of having guns taken away.

Marine ‘wanna-be’ per kdka; he was kicked out of Marine boot camp. His ‘friend’ on wpxi was linking all of this to politics.
