BTTT
We shall see, Holy Week is upon us. Every pol is going to be out their getting photographed heading to church.
Superb. Your “been there - done that” testimony is powerful!
But these crirics forget a few things,
not the least being that Bush's degree was awarded in May of 2001, well before any "War issues" were pertinent.
Plus, the "Just War" theory in an age of WMD and non-state actors is something that needs to be reconsidered, in that neither was considered (or needed to be) by Augustine.
Heck Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for alerting!
But after that Pelosi went to meet with the Pope. And Holy Communion was to be denied to Biden and it came out he did receive communion. Correct me if this is wrong?
I am not a Catholic but I do respect different religions. It does not mean that I cannot see those who belong for the sake of belonging only. Catholic religion is a very strong majority in the United States. To offend the church would be detrimental to their elections. But I believe to some it means only that loss. They have already given up any Christian beliefs for their agenda.
There was a Catholic school teacher who came out with his own website in support of obama’s abortion policies during the election. He came to the truth obama’s policies on abortion would save more lives. I reported his website to the Catholic diocese. I was appalled that he was campaigning for obama based on abortion policies.
This is not about someone raped, someone will die during delivery, incest or another traumatic reason for abortion. This is about obama’s abortion at any stage and if the baby survives that abortion, obama believes it is a extra burden on the mother to allow that baby medical care. The baby must die alone without medical care.
To have obama speak in any Christian school or college is a abomination.
In the meantime I'll leave you a couple of links that I did find:
Pelosi has also been recently reprimanded by her own bishop, Archbishop George Niederauer of San Francisco, for attempting to justify abortion by distorting Catholic teaching. At a secret meeting on February 8, the Archbishop laid out Catholic teaching on the life issues for the Speaker. Did Pelosi change her pro-abortion position as a result? You won't see that happening, said Pelosi spokesman Brendan Daly afterwards. She is not changing her position on abortion.2 Pelosi also claims that she's never been denied communion at her church in San Francisco.

Last September, Archbishop George Niederauer took a definite "pastoral" (ugh!) approach:
The Speaker's Archbishop Speaks
Maurice Healy, spokesman for the Archdiocese of San Francisco, confirmed to CNSNews.com that Archbishop Neiderauer met with Pelosi in private on Feb. 8. While details of that pastoral-private meeting cannot be disclosed, said Healy, he added that it would be correct, in this matter, to reference the bishops Sept. 5 statement that publicly corrected Pelosis comments about the churchs position on abortion a statement in which the archbishop also invited Pelosi to meet with him to discuss the issue.
Inquiries to Pelosis office on this story were not answered before this story went to press. Questions to Maurice Healy about HLIs appeal for Pelosis excommunication and the topic of prohibiting her from receiving communion were also not returned as this story went to press.
Catholic Group Petitions Pope to Excommunicate Nancy Pelosi
But I know I read it somewhere!
Et cum spiritu tuo. :-)
I can't remember that offhand, and it's a bit late for me to go looking around. There have been so many of these CINO politicians that it's hard to keep track of all...their Bishops!
...To offend the church would be detrimental to their elections. But I believe to some it means only that loss. They have already given up any Christian beliefs for their agenda.
I think there's a lot of false pride involved, i.e., they think they know better than the Church.
With Pelosi, I'm starting to get the impression that she thinks she's The Queen - she's really in her own world.
Thanks for reporting that teacher. There's another one who values his opinion too highly.
To have obama speak in any Christian school or college is a abomination.
The man is in favor of infanticide for abortion survivors, and that priest wants to give him an honorary law degree. There are no words.
That phrase is very accurate and should be repeated often.
Here is the website below. Also if you do a search for Kmiec online, you will see many articles in support of liberal agenda even before he came out with his support of Obama’s abortion policies. It is as if Kmiec sold himself to obama because he wanted CHANGE and was trying to sell out Catholics by rationalizing how obama and his taxpayer funded agenda would actually lessen abortions. I wonder now how he feels that taxpayers are funding forced abortions in China. How can a woman led away for a abortion that she does not want, cries she is a Christian and it is not her belief, be any part of Kmiec’s logic of saving lives. There is no saving of life in China. One child and it better be male so some abort the first one if it is female to try for a male. Some simply lay the babies in rice fields to die. Sounds eerily similar to obama’s infanticide. The families must pay for that abortion you are forced to have in China. Families also pay for the bullets when one is killed by firing squad. obama forces us to pay for this evil.
Kmiec in order to support the democrat liberal agenda had to find a way to twist the Catholic religion and to secure followers because obama was losing ground when the democrats were called the party of death.

On April 18, 2008, Douglas W. Kmiec was denied Communion at a Catholic Mass in Westlake, California. Ironically, Kmiec had been invited by a Catholic business group to give a dinner address on the Bishop’s teaching of “Faithful Citizenship.” Kmiec had served as head of the Office of Legal Counsel for both Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush. But now, he found himself rejected by his faith—simply for endorsing the presidential campaign of Senator Barack Obama.
In Can a Catholic Support Him?, Kmiec offers us a thoughtful explanation of his rationale. He addresses the difficult questions at the core of his decision: Can a Catholic support a Pro-Choice candidate? Can there be a reverence for life that embraces a larger set of values? How does a Catholic citizen balance his obligations to the Church and to community? In asking these questions, he challenges those whose partisan interests are provoking a false rift between the Catholic Church and the Democratic party.
