Do you realize how insane that sounds? God punished us by removing Bush, whose term was up and gave us Obama as further punishment?
That's just crazy talk.
removing support is not the same as opposing
It’s the difference between getting a gift and getting nothing. One isn’t owed gifts, and doesn’t know to miss what hasn’t been given.
Not receiving a gift does not mean one begins receiving active injury.
Excellent point.
Is God still alive?
If so, is He still active in human affairs?
If so, does He still punish?
What does He punish and how?
Thanks for the ping!

MONCTON, May 27, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) Myah Walker has described the time from her daughters birth up until this past Saturday, May 23, as the best 93 days of my life. Faith Hope Walker, the baby about whom LifeSiteNews had previously reported, passed away peacefully this weekend in the arms of her mother, a 23 year-old student living in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Myah, who maintained a weblog of her daughters life, wrote on Saturday, She looked up at me and opened her beautiful eyes, and I realized what was happening. I told her to go with Jesus. I told her that I loved her and that it was ok, that I would meet her in Heaven.
Faith was born with a condition called anencephaly, in which a portion of the childs brain fails to fully develop. With the prevalence in the medical community of eugenic abortion, the great majority of such children are not allowed to live until birth.
Myah has said that she was pressured by hospital staff to have Faith killed before birth via abortion. Doctors told her that Faith was alive only because "she was attached" to her mother and that even if she survived to birth, she would be neither able to hear nor see.
Myah, a believing Christian, was told by doctors that she could continue the pregnancy without risk, "Or, I could choose to induce early to terminate the pregnancy."
She wrote, For some reason I had to give the doctors my decision over and over again, which was frustrating. One doctor asked, 'Can I ask why you want to continue this pregnancy?' I guess some people are baffled by unconditional love.
When the baby was born, she was apparently able to both see and hear and suffered no health problems other than anencephaly. No medication was required in Faiths daily care and she was able to breastfeed, although she also received nutrition through a tube. . .

Leading Nazis, and early 1900 influential German biologists, revealed in their writings that Darwins theory and publications had a major influence upon Nazi race policies. Hitler believed that the human gene pool could be improved by using selective breeding similar to how farmers breed superior cattle strains. In the formulation of their racial policies, Hitlers government relied heavily upon Darwinism, especially the elaborations by Spencer and Haeckel. As a result, a central policy of Hitlers administration was the development and implementation of policies designed to protect the superior race. This required at the very least preventing the inferior races from mixing with those judged superior, in order to reduce contamination of the latters gene pool. The superior race belief was based on the theory of group inequality within each species, a major presumption and requirement of Darwins original survival of the fittest theory. This philosophy culminated in the final solution, the extermination of approximately six million Jews and four million other people who belonged to what German scientists judged as inferior races...

Thanks for the ping!
Thank you for the ping on this story. Do you know why the baby’s eyes were always covered? I read the blog and didn’t find anything on it. Were they trying to keep the head from growing large with fluid?
I don’t know the answer to that.
What a beautiful story!
Notre Dame University went ahead with both the honorary degree and the commencement speech for pro-abortion President Barack Obama despite a multiplicity of protests. Seventy Catholic bishops sharply criticized the decision, 360,000 persons signed a petition opposing the invitation, and 1,400 Notre Dame supporters even indicated their intent to cease donating a combined $14 million to the school. Many outraged Catholics have called for the resignation of Father John I. Jenkins, the school's president. They blame him for soiling the schools supposedly unsullied commitment to Catholic beliefs. The truth, however, is that Notre Dame went off course long ago, taken there by its famous former and longtime president, Father Theodore Hesburgh. . .

"The question, then, is how do we work through these conflicts? Is it possible for us to join hands in common effort? As citizens of a vibrant and varied democracy, how do we engage in vigorous debate? How does each of us remain firm in our principles, and fight for what we consider right, without demonizing those with just as strongly held convictions on the other side?" President Barack Obama, Commencement Address at the University (formerly) of Notre Dame.
As sad a sight as it is, having a pro-abort socialist honored at a school built to honor Our Lady, we must realize that the crime committed today is not the arrogant speech of Obama, nor even the heinous duplicity of Fr. Jenkins, the current president of ND. No. As great men recognize that they stand on the shoulders of their predecessors, we must look deeper to see that Obama and Jenkins are but the tip of the iceburgor rather, of the Hesburgh, in this case. For the "honor" of the destruction of Our Lady's school rests squarely on the shoulders of one man, Rev. Theodore Hesburgh, the president of ND from 1952 to 1987. . .

Forty years ago the major Catholic universities in the U.S. decided that the Catholic Church needed to reform her teachings, especially that of sexual morality, to conform to the times, and that they should lead that reform. In 1967, at Land O'Lakes, Wisconsin, they declared their independence from the Church, exchanged the faith of their founders for an evolutionary heresy, proclaimed themselves to be an alternate magisterium, and transferred control from their founding religious orders to secular boards of trustees. Not coincidentally, by these actions they qualified themselves for lucrative financial grants from foundations controlled by leaders of the Culture of Death.
For forty years the true nature and intent of this revolution has been disguised. As a result, generations of Catholic students and graduates have been and are being ill formed and misled in their faith, or have lost it altogether. . .

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- In a lengthy press conference late Thursday, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs fielded more than 40 questions about where Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor stands on the issue of abortion.
Gibbs reiterated that President Barack Obama did not ask Sotomayor directly about her abortion views but talked enough about legal theory with her that he fells comfortable with her abortion stance.
"In their discussions they talked about the theory of constitutional interpretation, generally including her views on unenumerated rights and the Constitution and the theory of settled law," he said. "He left very comfortable with her interpretation of the Constitution being similar to that of his, though the bulk of the conversation was about her approach to judging."
Gibbs largely ducked questions about Sotomayor's abortion views or her position on a so-called "right to privacy" that has been used to validate abortion. He retreated to his boilerplate language saying that Obama and Sotomayor have essentially the same outlook on the Constitution.
"He felt comfortable that they shared a philosophy on that interpretation ... [of] the living document of the Constitution of the United States of America," he added. . .

A man who was featured in ads and on TV opposing Washington states assisted suicide Iniative 1000 died of ALS last week.
The group True Compassion Advocates says John Peyton died at home on Thursday, the same day Linda Fleming of Sequim woman became the first person to die under the "Death with Dignity" law.
Eileen Geller, president of True Compassion Advocates, a group that was against the law, called Peyton a hero in life and in death.
He showed us how to live with real dignity and die naturally and comfortably. He literally gave his last breaths to advocate for those at risk for assisted suicide. John Peyton demonstrates what I have seen in thousands of dying patients over 25 years working as a hospice nurse - that no one needs to die in pain or uncomfortably, and that people with life-limiting illnesses need competent, supportive care, not lethal drugs."
Voters approved the assisted suicide law in November by a nearly 60 percent vote, making Washington the second state to have a voter-approved assisted suicide law. It is based on a law adopted by Oregon voters in 1997.
The blood thirsty death mongers have a problem with that. They hate it when anyone is allowed to die naturally and comfortably. There's even one of them complaining about it on that thread.
11 Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake: 12 Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you. 13 You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt lose its savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is good for nothing any more but to be cast out, and to be trodden on by men. 14 You are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may shine to all that are in the house.

SOUTH BEND, Indiana, May 22, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Dozens of pro-life protesters arrested at the University of Notre Dame on May 17 for protesting President Obama's commencement speech will be heading back to Indiana in coming weeks from all across the country to stand trial. While Notre Dame had pro-life demonstrators summarily arrested for "criminal trespassing," witnesses say that pro-Obama demonstrators were given free roam of the campus - a fact that the pro-lifers' attorney says violated the Equal Protection clause.
~snip~ Asked whether Notre Dame had been involved in the cases, Dickson said: "the only response I got from Notre Dame was that they weren't interested in sitting down and trying to discuss these matters, that they were ... out of their hands."
While Obama addressed Notre Dame's commencement and received an honorary law degree, over 40 pro-lifers were put in jail or police custody for trespassing. Among those arrested were Norma McCorvey, the "Jane Roe" of Roe vs. Wade, Alan Keyes, and Fr. Norman Weslin, the Founder of Lambs of Christ.
"We will not be silent.
We are your bad conscience.
The White Rose will give you no rest."
As I've said before, by the death mongers' logic Hitler dressing in his finest uniform and committing suicide "died with dignity", but Jesus Christ, beaten, mocked and nailed to the Cross for our sins somehow lacked dignity.
Thanks for linking these threads. I just discovered these articles with a Google search earlier today. I feel like a veil has been lifted. All of a sudden things that didn’t make sense are all coming together. Having that historical context is essential in this fight to preserve Truth. God bless.
I had wondered about this for a long time, these three threads exposed exactly how the heretical treachery transpired.
