"Big banks recent profitability" is no mystery to me. Give me fifty billion dollars in goobermint money and I bet I can squeeze out a profit too.

"the U.S. government, which in turn keeps on duping U.S. taxpayers into believing everything is good."

This where Obama's going to get smacked. After boasting that the banks sre now doing OK, making a profit again, ...they aren't.

That will be harder to blame on Bush.

Oh I get the big picture where the monies are being channelled to. You do understand this:

“The AIG bailout was in essence a second Marshall plan for the banks of Europe. I hope Mr. and Mrs. U.S. Taxpayer aren’t holding their breaths waiting for the Europeans to thank them.

But go ahead, bleat on about inefficient unwinding of AIGFP trades or bonuses paid out to traders (which are not the major contributors to inflation), while Uncle Sam holds you upside down and shakes out your pockets to bail out, once again, Europe.”

That means you understand that the public does not understand. And to educate any citizenship, you must start with basics. We elect government. Government can then decide how it wishes to educate the public.

At this juncture, everything should be out on the table. If an economic Marshal plan was to save Europe because in an intertwined global economy would bring us down with them, that should be explained to the American public. It can still be implemented even if the public disagrees just like what happened in all of these bailouts.

But to do so would implicate those in banking and Washington whom facilitated through deregulation, this massive systemic risk for personal gain.

But the public will find out eventually, so I and a lot of others are now providing the truth in tranches.

You must be a beaurocrat of some kind, because across the world encapsulated beurocrats have not factored in the rate of business and spread of information online. We should be accelerating getting the truth out, so the citizenships can eat there bitter pills and begin rebuilding our destroyed economy. Our collaborative group which represents dozens of individual groups are disseminating open source code, a virtual printing press and almost finished with a Debate engine for citizens to problem solve rather then just talk on blogs. Sure, the beaucrats will resist competition over there money monopoly. But whether it is me or 10% of the world whom creates mechanisms for bottom up global governance is irrelevant. Internet is disruptive technology and beaurocrats can only retain monopolies, a continuation of mercentilism for a short time. Man is entering a new era and the old one (which was better then the previous) is emerging. The transition will be bloody and painful, unfortunately. Mankinds progress never moves in a straight line.

Your response puts you into the category of thinking that opaque, further market manipulations can fix opaque market manipulations. Sorry sir, but you are no humanitarian and probaly like most people whom earned there money with little blood sweat and tears, wish to preserve status quo at the further expense of the productive. It is your motivation is in question on our discussion. Mine is obvious and all my work transparent. This will get me killed someday, but there are other evils of being enslaved worse and an existnace worse then death.

Oh, I see.

Just because I criticized your focusing on only a small part of the picture, I therefore must be a “bureaucrat” and “no humanitarian” in favor of “opaque market manipulation” and against the “productive” and who earns his money with little “blood sweat and tears” and my “motivation” is probably nefarious.

LOL. Good luck with that open source code, virtual printing press and debate engine project (sincerely) but if every time someone takes issue with your take on something, you are going to respond with a unconnected string of bizarre ad hominems, your debate engine is going to be quite clogged.

My categorization was effect. Cause was your categorization. The debate engine will place people into groups and remove emotional barriers that waste time resolving a problem such as the two of us are doing now (wasting time).

Let’s pretend we both give a *hit about our vanity for a moment. I conduct Consumer Healthcare market research as an independent for big pharma. I own my own company and write my own check based on my own success. It appears I have become successful enough to find time to serve the public in the absence of leadership. So what do you do for a living? I am waiting for the crickets...

Vanity? How someone as full of himself and thin-skinned as you are will be very successful at providing "leadership" to "the public" is not clear to me but hey, if an empty suit can become president, maybe you will pull it off, too. You go, girl.

In what way am I hollow? There are doer’s and there talkers. Which camp are you in? You still did not answer my question of what you do for living. Why not? I do not need a defensible position for someone hurling insults on my motives. I believe you are simply part of many whom do not understand the real effects of disruptive technology. It does not matter in the end who I am, for I do not compete with any government or private entity on whom controls monopoly money and loots it while it still has value. If you are already vying for one side or the other, East vs. West for the Clash of the Titans over the international monetary prize, you are already fodder. But I do wish you and your family the best from one American to the other.

Mankind’s progress never moves in a straight line, perhaps my contributions will in the end make some marginal improvements in the quality of life. Time will tell :)
