The MSM pushed for loser McCain so there is no reason to believe they won't do so for his equally lame daughter while at the same time trashing Palin........

I think it's way past time that Ms. loser McCain is put in her rightful place alongside the equally ignorant democrats and exposed for what she really is.

Change of direction here, what employment has the Ms. McCain ever held in her young life?

It is now evident to me that Ms. McCain is basking in her media glory and probably profiting from it also. I suspect that she will eventually enter the political arena without ever, ever having held a legitimate job.

Just like her old man (yea, he was a war hero) but following his discharged from the Armed Services, he became a tax payer funded political whore and made a career out of it.........How great is that!

Welcome to the bizarro world where past and present politicians are now providing jobs for their equally incompetent offspring.

Washington DC, just like Hollywood, has become nothing more than a nepotistic, cloistered environment where old and aging rulers are now paving the way for their offspring to carry on in their footsteps.......

WE ARE SCREWED!!!!!!

She’ll never be satisfied until like Julie Nixon Eisenhower, Christopher Buckley, and the two offspring of Ronald and Nancy Reagan she turns Democrat.

Excellent point, you said, “why not just become a Democrat and get over the sham of portraying yourself as something else.”

She was a Democrat. She labeled herself and voted Democrat before John (daddy) McCain became a front runner.

We can all be helpful here. Just invite her back into the Democrat party; She feels more at home there.

And after that we can put forth the the petition asking John McCain if he would like to join the
Republican party.

I can see that she’s learned one thing from her dear old dad ... making herself a media darling by trashing her own party and claiming that she’s the lone voice of reason, flying in the face of the old-fashioned meanies that comprise it. God help us!

More like the Atlantic using autosuggestion to plant the idea that Meghan McCain is a future GOP leader to make the GOP move left.

The RINO Party Alert.

Just say no to liberals, turncoats, and traitors!

We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals of our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the party over to the so-called moderates wouldn't make any sense at all.

John McCain is a Neo-Republican and is a member of his party of choice. Reality: The RINO-led RNC and GOP have been coopted by the Demrats and they will never relinquish their grip. Over the past 50 years, the left has patiently advanced its goals. It has successfully disguised its true identity (it calls itself liberal or progressive), coopted labor unions, coopted education and coopted the political process. It had coopted the USSC, but lost that advantage under Bush II. It will be striving mightily to regain control the months an years ahead. The push has already started with the attacks by Reid on Justice Roberts.

In addition, to the above, the Left has been relentless in its campaign to demonize America. Ovjective: Set up a scenario where Americans ultimately reject what made this country into the economic and military powerhouse it has become—captialism. This then opens the door for the left to foist on us a system-socialism—that has failed where ever it’s been tried. The sub-prime and Wall Street problems were created by Demrats to advance the destruction of capitalism and replace it with socialism.

Getting back to the political process: The fact is, there is no longer a meaningful and vibrant opposition party to the Demrat Party in America today. Conservatives who think the GOP can ever be the road back to relevancy are deluding themselves. The Demrat socialist leadership will never allow it.

Thank you for your views. I imagine you have captured the essence of the problem over there.

That said, lots and lots of people come into the party through the GOP, RNC; the Republican party.

We probably lose a lot of momentum right there at the door.

A woman I know has run campaigns for a number of conservatives in this area and her candidates have all won.

Her dealings with the Republican Women groups were a total waste of time.

I’m glad to have your observations on the subject of Republican duplicity.

Key to this would be to infiltrate the Republicans, LOL.

Why bother. It would be far easier to create a new and viable opposition brand. I would always be leery of the “stay behind” RINOs who would be, in effect, a fifth column.

I did not mention in my comments that demrats have also been hugely successful in demonizing the “conservative” label. It is not a viable brand. I prefer to think of myself as a “contstitutionalist”—or “connie”. It is a far better indicator of what I’m about than the “conservative” label.
