So let me see if I got this straight....the people will be forced to work for free in order to gain their freedom from the government.....sounds like indentured servitude to me, and I do believe that is illegal....

I’m all for this!
Consider it payback for all of the mush-filled skulls that voted for the jerk.
Let’s see how they like giving up two or three years of their lives to the state.

We need some hero attorneys to challenge this.
Damnit, I’m ready to spend the next 10 years of my life in college/law school to do this, but it will be too late by then.

“The bill, promoted by the Obama administration as a means of encouraging America’s youth to participate in voluntary community service, has received little scrutiny from Congress or the public.”
When is this going to be covered by the news? Is this just going to slide by under the radar because of the economic news?

Isn't this unconstitutional? How can the gov. compell work w/ or w/o pay?
This is pure BS! More needs to be made of this.

That would seem to be the plan. Rush through as much legislation as fast as they can, while we’re looking the other way. Shovel ready, see?

This will be very funny to watch. The kids these days won't work for $10.00 per hour.....how the hell are they going to get them to work (ooops I mean volunteer) for nothing. There will be just as many adult paid supervisors as the volunteers! When this doesn't work they will be paid volunteers and guess who will be paying them. I can't believe the Congress voted for this crap.

When is this going to be covered by the news? Is this just going to slide by under the radar because of the economic news? You bet...this and any number of Fascist/Marxist bills....watch out especially for laws against the 1st and 2nd amendments...
this particular bill directly violates the 13th amendment.

Fat chance with no independent and free press. The msm is now permanently in bed with the democrats. (We need “unity” dontcha know, none of that nasty “partisanship”.)
IMHO
