AIG Bonuses: Surrendered Under Pressure?

No they all gave up 7 and 8 figure bonuses because they were good corporate citizens. </sarcasm>

Big Tobacco, Big Oil, Big Bankers, Big Insurance; all maligned by the government..I seem to detect a pattern.

ACORN needs to go after (bailed out GE) NBC and MSNBC execs and news personalities, such as Chris Matthews and his new $$$$ contract.

I believe the legislation constitutes a Bill of Attainder.

And that's illegal according to the Constitution.

Yes, and Congress violated the Ex-Post Facto law, retroactively, by passing usurer tax increases on the bonuses, and Government breaching contract.

I hope the punks in Gooberment are sooo stupid to go after the hold outs in court.

Breach of contract by the very Dims who made the contract in the first place.

I imagine if the AIG execs weren’t living in fear for their lives, they could successfully sue.

Cuomo said he got a bunch of them to return their bonuses and then sent out his vote for me for Governor stickers.

The Constitution
Article I
Section 9
No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.

Bill of Attainder: a bill that has a negative effect on a single person or group

ex post facto: Formulated, enacted, or operating retroactively

But then Democrats have never thought The Constitution as all that important in their desire to rule the world starting with the USofA.
