US and Europeans are seeking to channel resources to the provinces rather than to central government in Kabul.
Sounds like a great way to push them toward a civil war.

Does anyone remember when Karzia made the crack about Obama needing to learn, shortly after Barry was coronated? I guess we now know what the payback will be.

And all along we thought that we had established a democracy in Afghanistan. We thought their votes would count. So Zero will appoint a puppet govt..I guess that will limit curruption to friends of the puppet.
Zero doesn’t really believe in democracy does he?

Politics is for Obama nothing but personal vendetta. His grudge against Britain (due to his Kenyan background) have certainly to do with his cold treatment of Brown and sending back Churchill’s Bust.

boy, oh boy, oh boy - is that ever stepping into it!!!
Afghanistan is a constitutionally mandated government and foreign powers are going to unilaterally change that from the outside??
Is Obama’s model Syria's takeover of Lebanon??

Like the United States, some people are simply not ready for democracy. This is a test, will there be elections in the US in 2010?

Obama wants to change it to Chicago style corruption. Something he understands.

This change is a bizarre development. If Karzai is popular, this change will undermine our efforts. How did BHO get the Euros to go along? Maybe BHO is taking lessons from his Soviet admirers? Maybe the left should organize an embargo of our rat controlled government to protest this obvious violation of Afghan sovereignty.
To: Free ThinkerNY
That is extremely stupid. In this case our allies in Afghanistan will split and some will be become our enemies allying themselves with Taliban and Al Qaeda terrorists.

Is this the teleprompters idea? It should unite all the Afghans against us.

Which is probably his intention. I could imagine that Obama is trying to deteriorate the situation in Afghanistan so much that he has a reason to withdraw while giving his Islamic buddies another base.

“Politics is for Obama nothing but personal vendetta.”
Let’s not forget his grudge against hot shot financial traders, about whom he reported for awhile as an “analyst” in NYC. Nor his grudge against governors who honor state’s rights. Nor his grudge against anyone who thinks he or Michelle is less qualified because they were affirmative action beneficiaries. Nor his grudge against small business owners who don’t “share the wealth”. Nor his grudge against anyone who criticizes him: Sarah Palin, Joe the Plumber, Limbaugh, and now, increasingly, media personalities.

Another foreign leader scorned.
To: Free ThinkerNY
Is he trying to get more soldiers killed?
To: mountainlion
It should unite all the Afghans against us. Sadly, that's probably true. With this empty suit as POTUS, we'll have our a$$es handed to us in Afghanistan the same way the Russians had theirs handed to them in the '80s.
