Landed at about 2145z, 14 knots gust.
At first I thought they landed a little later than that — turns out the wind reports were consistent after all.

If the recorders are in the tail, they could be heavily damaged.
But we'll never hear it. We'll only get to read the transcripts.
On the 787, the data and voice recorders will be combined into one unit. In order to get the FAA to agree to this proposed design, Boeing agreed to put another identical unit near the cockpit.

Could have been fuel coming out.

Did the same thing landing in Dahlonega, GA last month. No bounce, just three rapid touch and goes then a full stop. Had to replace the nose gear on a Quicksilver GT500.
