Well, if you wanted an answer to your question, I tried to help you. If you just want to be mad, or angry me out of my viewpoint... can’t help you.

asked you to not embarrass yourself, but you insisted on it. No, you do NOT listen to Rush. Anybody that truly "listens" to Rush would know that he has harshly criticized Bush and other republicans when they had it coming. I believe it is you, sir, who are embarrassed. Question, don't you have anything better to do than to listen to a radio show 3 hours a day? Does Rush do all of your thinking because you're just too lazy to look to seek out other voices and thought?

Rush said that congress broke their oath of office with there AIG bonus pacakge.
My recent Nasty-gram to my Representative the putrid Adam Putnam:
How dare you vote for a Bill of Attainder and an Ex Post Facto tax in HR1586.
You are in contempt of your oath of office. You are a worthless, contemptible and putrid excuse for a Republican and a representative of this district. AGAIN!
First you vote for the TARP bill and now you vote to single out certain taxpeyers for retribution and persecution because of your stupidity and complicity in passing these boondoggle bailouts.
Very well spoken and I second it with honor

No, not angry, just commenting. I wasn’t the one sniping at Rush Limbaugh, you were.
I can tell, you’re very Religious!

How many times did Rush rise to the defense of Bush in his management of the economy, giving us the talking points of the Bush administration. He would dwell on how great the national economy was while jumping on true conservatives who could point out the obvious that the economy was crashing. This was the greatest failure of Rush. He tried to indict all those who disagreed with him about the state of the economy as some kind of leftist democrat. Either Rush was totally ignorant of the facts starring him in the face or he was just being an apologist for Bush and the GOP. I might also add that this same kind of mentality of defending the indefensible if it is criticism of republicans is also seen all to often on the Free Republic

And foment more anger against Republican party? Obviously the main stream media was doing more than necessary to shine the light on the evil republicans. Now we have a Marxist in office and a socialist congress to help him meet his goals.
What would be the point?

“Our elected government has set off figurative lynch mobs against other private citizens.”
Goes to show that there is a certain segment of our population that will always be lead around by the nose by the Washington elite. Pretty sad that people have no ability to think for themselves.

It looks to me like a civil case for damages could be brought. I’d name this bogus “party,” and everyone associated with it and any elected political person quoted as making threats or naming anyone at AIG.

“I’m sorry if that is too much nuance for you. “
In our society today, there is not cordial disagreement, it’s all or nothing. If you don’t agree with every iota of what I do, you are automatically wrong. That is also a ploy to destroy this country. The only diversity that has made this country great is the Diversity of thought!!!!

Newbie BibChr, I am just P.O.'d at Congress, Obama, Democrats, Most Republicans.... and just like the line in the song, The Merry Minuet, which goes and I don't like anybody very much. I don't know where to direct my anger, votes, and money...its so screwed up. Sort of like a rattlesnake coiled up with his tail reverberating.....

You are wrong.
All the Rush threads have are: “How was your trip to the supermarket this morning?” “My lawn needs watering.” “How are you dear/sweetie? I am glad to see you on this thread.” “Sorry about your hangnail.”
To: longtermmemmory
P.S.
I am not being rude toward you personally. It is just a buildup I have been having for a long time, and it just now exploded.
I respect you; and no, you are not “wrong” as I stupidly said.
My apologies, and my best regards.
To: BibChr
but didnt actually move his person to vote for him? If so, doesnt that sort of stick in your craw?
No, it doesn't stck in my craw. It may stick in Rush's craw, and yours, but not mine.
I'm far more impressed by the millions he has persuaded to vote for Republicans.

ROFL What an absolute ignorant statement! First you try to polish your "I listen to Rush!" credentials. Then, when it becomes obvious that you really don't, you blast those that do. HA! Priceless!
What's even funnier is that you are bashing Bush, and I tell you that Rush has criticized him as well, and then you accuse me of letting Rush do all of my thinking. If I did let Rush do all of my thinking, I would have come to the conclusion that Bush brought down the GOP. Wait! Isn't that exactly the conclusion you wanted me to draw? Do you realize what a walking oxymoronic contradiction you are?
And just because I say I listen to Rush, you automatically assume that I slavishly listen for 3 solid hours, but I'm "too lazy" to seek other opinions? Do you assume that for all 22 million of his listeners? Anybody that knows me what laugh at such an idiotic assertion.
I don't know what your problem is, but you've got some serious issues.

You’re right there, G. That thread was way off from what one might expect.
90% of the posts had nothing to do with the points Rush was making. Plus, there were at least a dozen posts of full, lengthy articles from other blogs. No moderation.
But then again, certain Freeps have hijacked this thread, too. I ‘m allergic to the stench of urine.
