My mindset when I posted that was more along the lines of Think what would be happening if a conservative had said that stuff, instead of trying to be ultra-sensitive.

An incident down here in South Texas may have made the national news, where some chowder-headed employees of the Corpus Christi State School were organizing fight matches between the mentally-challenged clients, has many down here in a heightened awareness of such incidents:

Exactly. This whole Special Olypics “gaffe” is a planned distraction from Barry screwing up the economy and everybody is falling for it, including a lot of Freepers.

OK, guys. Let’s only see the reality and not go on a witch hunt here. There was nothing in that exchange that was wrong. Jay got the dog name wrong, and it does sound kind of gross. Instead of Portuguese Water Dog or Hound or whatever, he said Portuguese Water Head. So Pres Obama said that it sounds scary, like the dog would go around dripping through the house. Nothing really to go on there, except for the fact that we may not have really wanted to see our President sitting around being cool, so soon after he began his term.
