Kollar-Kotelly agreed with the plaintiffs that the government's process in enacting the change was "astoundingly flawed," Can you imagine what the Founders would have done with Kommie-Kotelly?

That time was about 30-40 years ago.

My standard rule is to just ignore laws that are unconstitutional or just plain retarded. I enjoy my life more that way. :-)

Plus, the suit was filed by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, the National Parks Conservation Association and the Coalition of National Park Service Retirees.

This judgment looks very weak and should be easily overturned.

Does anyone know how serious an offense you'll be charged with if you're caught carrying in a park?
I know enough to carry discretely, and agree that "it's better to be tried by twelve than carried by six" but if I'd be risking a felony, that's enough to make me stay away from national parks.

F#$% the judge, F#$% the rule.
Carry anyway. Thank God I've got my own morals because I'm about done with respecting the law.

The curious thing about the ruling: nothing changed. Yes, the legality of concealed carry changed, but the legality of anything garnering awareness of carry has not. If nobody knows you're carrying, then nobody knows. If someone DOES discover you are carrying, then you're in violation whether or not the "no carry" rule is in place, as concealment is mandated and revelation of carry is still prohibited.

Judge Kollar-Kotelly was appointed to the United States District Court in May 1997.
Clinton appointee. And here is the scary part:
In May 2002 Chief Justice Rehnquist appointed Judge Kotelly to serve as Presiding Judge of the United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court , which is a 7-year appointment.
I'll bet she was one of the Leakers

Time for a boycott of the national parks

"...Need to take this judge into one of the national parks where they have reintroduced the wolf and a few bears and tie a pork chop around his neck and dip him in honey and see how fast he wished he had a gun to protect himself..."I'll do you one better: several years ago I encountered hispanic gang members in Yosemite Valley. Don't know what their purpose was, but they were doing their gang signs and gang whistles to intimidate the nice people, and ruined it for everybody. I myself ran into them at the communal showers. The gang member showering nearby would not stop his whistling (which is done to announce their presence and as a form of intimidation). All the good folks who knew what was transpiring were scared but had no recourse.
I wish I had a gun that day.

Legislating from the bench? Don't we have rules against that kind of thing?
Impeach the Judge. If they won't impeach, run the judge out of town...
Enough is enough.
