Oh who cares. Only those who think they have to be bitter all the time, no matter what the story. Gardening is a good idea, and some people actually enjoy it. If Michelle is one of those, good for her, and the local kids. If not, if they get busier than they think, I’m sure someone will weed and water it for them. The country has bigger worries.

“National Park Service staff won’t do the sowing and planting. The White House residence staff will handle that.”

Yeah, I don’t see Michelle My bell weeding and deadheading.

Yesterday the WH residence staff was going to tend it. Now Mrs. O says that she and hubby will. hmmm

Wow, I guess if you can't do the job of President you can just grow a garden! Neither one of these communist will turn one spade full of dirt unless a camera and 20 reporters are present to record it, otherwise those school children will be working their tails off for nothing.

And some may sneer, but I love arugula. It’s a great green and very economical in the sense that it re-seeds itself beautifully. Plant it one season and you’ll be set for years.

What's next? Cars on blocks? Overturned trash cans? Empty six pack wrappers?

Well, I would say that is very interesting.

There is a bill that would essentially OUTLAW the average backyard garden.

So, which is it? Is this only OK for the White House, while the rest of us won’t be able to grow our on food in our own yards????

This is not about a garden. It’s a means to an end. Notice all the “educate” references. These people have an agenda for everything. Typical dumbing down of America. You all are so stupid, we have to explain every concept. My father-in-law had his WW2 victory garden sticker on the back door till the day he died in 1999.

Oh who cares. Only those who think they have to be bitter all the time, no matter what the story.

How can a man with no executive experience, no meaningful political accomplishment on his record, with a Far-Left philosophy, whose only proven skill is to read very well from a TelePrompter ever have been elected President of the United States of America?

Because the liberal media created a false image .... a false illusion .... a lie.

If you don't bother to chip away at that false illusion, the false illusions will persist in the Sheeple's heads. ..... And, in the U.S., the vote of each one of the Sheeple counts just as much as your vote.

I love home-grown vegetables. Beats the flavor of store-bought, no matter what the cost.

That being said, the First Family planting the first WH vegetable garden since WW2? I’m sure they’ll get a few questions that are not obesety related.

I wonder if Barry and Michelle will dig in the dirt? Maybe teach their daughters some of the finer points of gardening?
