Too bad. They should have opted for the latter. The little girl would probably enjoy much more love and acceptace.
This is horrible.
I agree. This is horrible.
They sure do.
"I would tell them to come to our house for a week and see what it's like to live with a child like ours," said Mantha. "See the involvement that's needed -- the time and energy in terms of everything involved in our life."
What selfish parents! This is your child and I’m pretty sure that no one would voulenteer to be dehydrated to death. This makes me so mad what a witch!
There are parents of children with birth defects who do walk away and leave the kid for the hospital to deal with. The fact that these parents were given the option to do that, with the hospital’s blessing, and decided not to hints to me that this lawsuit isn’t what it looks like on face value.
Although it’s phrased in such a way that it looks like the parents are suing the hospital for not killing the child in a painful way, I think what is really going on is that the parents are getting overwhelmed with the bills and so forth. Simply put, they want money from the hospital, and this is their angle to get it.
If there is any reason to think that they genuinely do want the kid dead, the judge should terminate their parental rights immediately. However, since this looks more like a scheme to get money, the judge should determine that and throw the case out or rule against them.
Meanwhile, if (as I suspect) they are finding themselves overwhelmed, I’m sure that there are many sources of support they could find, a cerebral palsy organization or something. Something that’s a little more honest than trying to get rich by suing the hospital for NOT killing the child.
Father resembles child and wife murderer Scott Peterson, if not in appearance, in lack of moral compass.
You know, there are just some articles better left unread. I knew from reading the title and should have left it at that. I want that baby!! I’m so disgusted, I can’t stand it!
Yep, I noted the same irony.
That’s *exactly* what they (I was going to call them the
“death eaters” but I haven’t read that one in the series)
want you to say. They want to maneuver ppl into accepting
homicide, period.
