Bishop Joseph Martino prays at the St. Peter's Cathedral, Oct. 1, 2003 in Scranton, Pa. The Roman Catholic cathedral is the potential site of a showdown over the annual St. Patrick's parade in this economically struggling former coal town: Martino said he'd cancel the traditional pre-parade Mass on Saturday March 14, 2009 if organizers honored an abortion-rights supporter -- a warning seen by some to refer to native son Vice President Joe Biden.

Good man. The church needs more bishops like this man. These abortion/Obama loving CINOs make me sick.

Good for him.
If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.
It has been this “let’s just all get along” BS that the left has used to get us to this point.

Me, either ... not since "M*A*S*H" went off the air, iirc. I only read about them on FR ;-), but in this case, I just googled. Here's a picture of Dwight Schultz, just because I feel like it:

My goodness, a Bishop who will actually stand up for Catholic teaching. How do we get a Bishop like that? I don’t blame him for refusing MSM interviews. They’ll just use the occasion to print what they want anyway. As for the teacher’s union guy, he’s par for the course.
To: Frantzie
Bishop Martino is my bishop. As an outsider, he was brought in to clean up the mess, so to speak. All those CINO’s, which riddle my parish as well as most parishes in this diocese, are fuming over how he is handling things. Personally, I say if it annoys them, he’s doing the right thing. They have their own belief system, something Bishop Martino won’t allow. Good for him!
To: VermiciousKnid
Yes, it is. “Howlin’ Mad” Murdoch and Robert Oppenheimer, too.

Michael Milz, president of the local teachers' union for parochial schools, accuses Martino of ignoring Catholic social teaching on workers' rights. The bishop has refused to recognize the union.A parochial schools teachers union? What is that all about? Good for the bishop in refusing to recognize them!

It must have been bad. I’m happy you’ve now got a Bishop who adheres to Catholic teaching. God bless him.

Bishop Martino is a good man. The church needs more like him. They also need to boot out the leftist bishops and priests trying to undermine the church.
I hope he keeps irritating the CINOs.
