elk cull to target cows
Up to 80 animals to be taken in addition to the 20 already removed January 28, 2009

Two teams of sharpshooters will be used for the cull. The teams will include Park Service and Colorado Division of Wildlife employees and screened volunteers.

Only cows will be targeted in the upcoming elk cull in Rocky Mountain National Park.
