B.H.Obama is half white. He is not a black man.
Exactly. Since he’s as much white as he is black, he is NOT our first black president.
He’s our first mongrel. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. They make great pets, just not so hot presidents.
[Wonder how long this will stay here?]

You’re not from the South are you?
...I’m white, speak spanish, and my wife’s black. I’ve been called nigga lover by crackers, gringo by pendejos, and whitey by niggiz. I’m not bitter and I’m not a bigot, I hate intolerent americans equally!!!
Racism is really a form of tribalism, a reason for decrying that we are all sons of Adam and Eve. Itis God Himself who has taught us that we are all brothers but that while it is our differences that make us who we are, yet were are ultimately of one blood. How many wars have been fought over objects of no more consequence than a doll fought over by grieving sisters who refused to share their mother’s love. How many brothers and sisters have gone to their graves hating one another, when reconciliation would have been the only thing that would have made them truly happy? Unfortunately our first black president and his wife nurse grievances that may yet tear this country apart again. Where will it end?
That would make a great tag line.
We’re all “mongrels”, a riot of genes. This is especially true of Southern families, which are all, to one degree or another, blends of red, white, and black.
Well I know that, because I’m about as mixed as you can get, but I’m not going around claiming to be the first of anything either.
I just think one of the most absurd remarks going around is how Obambam represents blacks—because he’s half white, which means the blacks are claiming a white man (who happens to be half black) as their special symbol. It’s not racism, even, it’s just stupidity.

“That would make a great tag line.”
Help yourself.

Well, I agree. He is our first half Kenyan and half white president. But because he can “pass” as black, in large part because he is married to a black woman, blacks cling to him with tribal fierceness.
Racists do exist in all colors and all cultures—it is an ugly and vile thing. It can only lead to ugly and vile deeds. The day will come when this nation needs to set such things aside as a luxury we can no longer afford. Did the killers at 9-11 care if their victims were black or white? Too many people in the world hate all Americans and would like to see all of us dead—rich, poor, black, white, yellow and brown.
The day will come when we must work together or meekly go into to our own be headings. Racism is pure foolishness.
You are so right. Personnally I never let anyone off calling me a racist. I “get in their face” as obama wants people to do and try to make them tell my exactly WHY they think I’m a racist. They almost always get embarrassed or realize they are wrong.
It certainly is not. A form of the same behavior; tribalism, is at the root of the problems of Africa and the 4th world craphole that it is today.
The “my people” line. A few years ago I countered that lead-in phrase from some acquaintances with “My people lost several family members from 1860 to 1865 fighting to free your people”. Never hear that phrase again.
His mother’s family were slave owners, his father’s family/tribe were slave catchers and traders. BO has a claim to part of the history of slavery but it is not what blacks in this country think it is.
