I voted for Palin.
I can’t stand McCain.

I put my boots on for a month straight and went out there and campaigned wholeheartedly for John McCain and Sara Palin .
God , I wish they had one....I thought we had a chance ,there in the last few days . But it was not to be .
Frankly , I REALLY Miss George Bush . I miss his kind of corny , self effacing humor and winks . I miss Laura Bush . Heck , I even miss Dick Cheney ! Y’all come back now , ya hear?

I miss Ronald Reagan. Voted against McCain for who?
John McCain was last on my list of Republicans to vote for. The addition of Sarah Palin to the ticket was brilliant.
The first time I ever voted for a republican was Ronald Reagan running for his second term. I have never voted for a democrat since.
If everyone wants to eliminate one party in this seeming duopoly, this inflated leviathan government, this trending anti-freedom collectivist state...lets do it. So long republican/conservative enablers. At least then EVERYONE who despises it will on have only ONE culprit to focus on. Perhaps then we can cleanse it as we put heads on pikes.
Either/or/all ways I will survive as an individual. The anti-individual, anti-truth, anti-freedom, anti-life collective...no matter how big...can eliminate me.

Well, by this thinking, we must brace ourselves to many more years of Democrat rule. But still, hey, we can always be comforted by the fact that while the nation lies in ruins, we were righteous and mighty and pure. We never voted for anyone who didn’t meet the very high bar we have set. And while we had trouble even FINDING an acceptable candidate — there was none in 2000, in 2004, in 2008, in 2012, in ... — we were always outspoken and straightforward in every way, and everywhere and always true to our ideals.
Yessirree, steadfast baby. Steadfast. We conservatives have and know and live the truth, and we refuse on principle to be forced to pick between the lesser of two evils.
