Where's the ACLU and the 'separation of Church and State' argument?
If the Church isn't supposed to meddle in State business, then the State has no business meddling in Church business either.

The Kulturkampf in Bismarck’s Germany aimed to do something like this.

We need as big a turnout as possible for the public hearing on Wednesday, especially from non-Catholics.This Jew stands with her Christian brothers and sisters. They'll take over your church over my dead body.

Tonight they were discussing this on Glenn Beck. They said it was “shelved”, not pulled. They’re still working on it.

Perservere it is what we know best.
Correct me if I am wrong but I have never seen a book written by a Catholic on doom and gloom end times like LaHaye ect...have written many times over the decades.

If the legislature can replace a bishop with a board of laymen in the Catholic Church, they can just as easily replace the governing lay structure of Congregationalist or Baptist churches with someone set up as a bishop. And they'll make sure the new bishop is gay and pro-abortion. Count on it!
