Those tacitly endorsing Zero are secretly if not overtly hoping to be on the receiving end of the government largesse that has, as college sophomores might, run through the hallways shouting, "Free Beer!" That is, "bailouts!" and "Mortgage worries? Obama will make those greedy bankers pay!" have subverted the vulnerable from our publik skool system.

The education system has fostered a generation of pollyanna economic illiterates that are as susceptible as any 14 year-old girl in her second week by herself on the streets would be to a smooth-talkin', bathed-and-kempt, Cadillac-driving money-flashing pimp.

The logical consequences are clear. Will we not do all we can to stop such actions leading to those consequences for our nation's and our own progeny, especially now that we've been stripped of our relaxing retirement, left to grunt it out working while under Obama's health care rationing??

This has been blown up so out of proportion that I wonder whether Rush is allowing it to be. As you said, it is simple. Rush and all conservatives want America to succeed. Rush and all conservatives want Obama's socialist agenda to fail. When Rush says he wants Obama to fail, he means that he wants Obama to fail to get his socialist agenda to pass. It is silly to suggest that we hope that his socialist agenda would succeed, because
a. We know that is impossible, as the smarter of his people do, as well. It is about power, not GDP growth.
b. Socialism is slavery. It is possible to not want to be a socialist comrade, even if it could create a utopian society (which we know it can't). Wanting socialism to fail is a proper choice for an American who loves his country, his church, his heritage, and his freedom.
