I don’t get it, what did it say?
I saw that earlier on the net and didn’t mention it because it had no information, besides I’m ready to defend Palin but I am not ready to try and sell the person that Palin was forced to appoint.
Any decisions this new judge makes, if they’re conservative, will only end up being reversed by the 9th circuit anyway so in the bigger picture it doesn’t really matter what she does.
For example, even if she votes to uphold this new Prental Consent law, the 9th ct will just strike it down on appeal. This issue may be fun to debate but in terms of practical effects and impact, the 9th ct and ulti, ately the SC decides the law in AK on any issue of importance(i.e that freepers would actually care about) and who Gov Palin does or doesn’t pick has nothing to with the result. It’s all the 9th circuit which is stacked with liberals. And the SC above them.
I agree about reforming the process but that seems like a tall order, this system sounds like its been entrencehed for quite a while.
As for those who think this somehow disqualifies her from further office or future endeavors, Barack Obama in the next four years will appoint at least 30 appeals judges and maybe some Supremes, each one of them will do exponentially more damage than any appt by Gov Palin, and every conservative in the country would rather have Gov Palin make those appts than him. There’s a much bigger picture here than some judge in Alaska who really won’t end up affecting anything of real importance.
I doubt they will ever learn. I may be new to FR but I am not new to Gov. Palin. I have done my research on Gov. Palin and I trust her all the way. Gov. Palin is consistent and honest in her views and thats all I need to know.
Naybe her position has changed from what it was 15 years ago on this issue... who knows. You are just peddling rumors and insist that the Governor is now sullied. For good measure let's wait til she maybe comes out with a statement, shouldn't we?
So, you're stating Palin has no clue as to how she'll rule? And, that is suppose to make us feel better about her judgment in the manner?
She is responsible for what this woman does. And, she better push to reform the nomination process in Alaska or she has damaged herself.
Keep foaming at your mouth. Again... there is no proof that Christen is pro-abortion. Your only source is backtracking and even defending Palin. You have NO standing. Just admit it already and get over it.

Admit YOU have no clue as to how Christen will rule and that Palin is responsible for her rulings on the court. And, if Christen turns out to be a leftist, there will be no excusing Palin's decision to appoint her.
Do you have a REASON to think that Christen will rule leftist!?
The Alaska Judicial Council has put forth the names of two south-central judges to fill a state Supreme Court vacancy. Both candidates are left of center. One of the candidates leans far left.
LOL!!! Dan Fagan? He is a toad that since the beginning was smearing Palin as “far Left”. Get some serious sources and not political hacks. Fagan is a Murkowski hack, and you know it.
This article cleared up some of my own misconceptions. Just goes to show, ya can't believe the first media impressions when it comes to SP. They never give her an even break. My first instinct was to give her a pass........how big of me, right??.....now I realize she didn't need one !!
Thanks for staying vigilant.
This guy Minnery is now saying that he doesn't blame Palin for this mess and all negative comments about Judge Christen have been removed from the Alaska Family Council website.
UPDATE: Minnery of Alaska Family Council not upset with Palin
