that’s all that happens? they get embarrassed? big deal.

They get embarrassed and still have to make the same choice they were stuck with in the first place.

Again, if the MSM begins to question Sarah Palin’s pro-life credentials, you will know where there’s heat, there’s fire. But I don’t think the MSM wants to diverge from their template, So you Obamatrons should go back to your master and check with him first to see if you’re on the same page. You wouldn’t want to disppoint your Messiah would you?

OOOKKKAAYY!?!?!

Not sure what you thought I was posting or who you think I am supporting, but for your clarification, I support Sarah until there is substantiated proof that she is any thing but a Pro-Life, Pro 2nd amendment, fiscally conservative republican.

mnhehrling made a great point about the woman Palin appointed: take a gander.

Still challenging your original premise, did or does Palin know that Christen is pro-abortion. The group was not planned parenthood at the time, they didn’t promote abortions at the time, the application linked above makes no mention of it.

You are accusing Palin of nominating a pro-abortion candidate when we DON’T KNOW that Christen is pro-abortion. You are making the assumption based on what the MSM says. You should know better.

Again, the more important question- Why is this Alaskan’s for Life promoting the more liberal, pro-abortion Smith? Don’t you think that question raises red flags about their charge?

What other unalienable rights do you want to let the states decide?

why do they have to make the choice after they’ve been “embarrassed”
If they refused once - they can refuse twice - heck 3 or 4 times.

What are they going to do?
Can they impeach her?

“what happens to her if she refuses the choices offered to her?”

The exact same thing that happened the last time an Alaskan Governor tried to reject the choice offered. They send back the exact same choice and say choose one!

Look it will take a more credible story than this to send Sarah to the sidelines permanently.

In addition again the MSM will assert until they are blue in the face that Sarah is pro-life.

It’s a good post - I’ll delay my abandonment for now.
But if it turns out she appointed a pro-deather, I’m out.

So make your case for her only other choice which was Eric Smith.

Give us your sales points on him and why he was a better choice.

Your credibility is suffering a body blow on this thread, I hope that your presentation on him is good.

Say NO as many times as it takes.

I already addressed that. Leave the post vacant until they provide a candidate who lives up to her sworn oath to protect unalienable rights.

On it’s own, that’s technically correct. Do Pro-Choice families have children?

BTW, this is NOT a comment about Palin!

Well, since Hillary Clinton didn't kill Chelsea, I guess she's "pro-life" then. /s

EV, do you KNOW what the Missouri plan is ? A Governor has no choice but to select liberal #1 or liberal #2. Neither of these people would’ve been appointed if she was given a free hand. A Governor has a gun pointed to their head with this disgusting liberal-protection judicial selection method. It’s the same in my state and we’re fighting to get rid of it.

She could be impeached for violation of the state Constitution, yes, where it says that "The governor shall fill any vacancy in an office of supreme court justice or superior court judge by appointing one of two or more persons nominated by the judicial council."

The key word there is "shall", which imposes a legal requirement. It does not offer her a legal option beyond that listed.

Those who suggest that she refuse to appoint either are both advocating civil disobedience and politically ignorant.
