If the RNC does not shed itself of this mistake, forget it. He has been stumbling along since day 1, and finally he got trapped and turned around and used an uzi on US.

It wasn’t a clip. It was an entire segment with Hughley, Steele and Chuck D. There was no missing context at all.
I would have voted for Ken Blackwell or Katon Dawson, both solid conservatives. Keyes isn’t even a Republican anymore and he obviously had no organizational skills even when he was.
I would not have voted for Steele for RNC chair because of his liberal history. However, when he was elected, I said: “OK, give him a chance, let’s see what he can do.”
But no more. Steele can never recover from his evil and treasonous remarks. No conservative will ever be able to trust him again. Ever. He can and should apologize but that does not change the fact that he needs to go away. Now.

Ed Gillespie was the best RNC director imo. After he resigned, the party started falling apart. I wish Ed Gillespie would return. Seriesly.
