Biden wasn't quite that specific. Here's the actual quote:
"And here's the point I want to make. Mark my words. Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he's gonna have to make some really tough - I don't know what the decision's gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it's gonna happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate. And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you, not financially to help him, we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right.
Nothing about martial law. And it was a fundraising speech in Seattle, not Jerusalem.
Still, I've always wondered... If Joe doesn't know "what the decision is gonna be", how is he so certain that it won't "be apparent that we're right"?
But, then, it's Joe's job to talk, not to make any sense.
What could a Russian know about countries collapsing... oops, never mind.
i LOVE that photo...
As a student of a Catholic high school, the Sisters of Loretta taught me, I am pleased to be at an institution of higher education with such strong and celebrated Catholic and Jesuit traditions . . . You see, I got my Master's Degree at Notre Dame. (Boos.) I acquired a passion for the fighting Irish . . . and my family has been college educated and Presbyterian ever since. (Laughter and applause.) . . . I wandered into a course on international politics taught by a Czech refugee who specialized in Soviet studies, a man who had a daughter by the name of Madeleine Albright. With that one class, I was hooked. I discovered that my passion was Russia and all things Russian.
“I’d wager a good amount of the little money I have left that a big chunk of the military’s brass (let alone the enlisted) will not go along with this. “
Maybe so but didn’t at one time say he say he wanted to create a National Police Force?
The guy may be an idiot, but I don’t recall him saying the 6 autonomous regions would be “taken over” by other countries - other than Russia taking Alaska. He said they would fall under the influence of other countries. Indeed, the southeastern states to Arizona would be heavily influenced by Mexico as a neighbor. I think his timetable is off, but there is a real possibility of a breakup of the U.S.A. if Obama continues doing as he does.
I have faith that Obama can do it in less time than that.
Backbones? It will be the one worlders (who ever that is) who are presently raping the American people of their wealth.
Red Dawn
The Russians still don’t get us.
One of the pillars of conspiracy theory is that the federal government has been planning to make the states superfluous by coalescing them into a number of political/economic “regions” (the number cited usually varies between 6 and 10), the entire country to be governed by a rewritten constitution similar to the one by Rexford Tugwell, an economic advisor to FDR during the New Deal era. Tugwell, a leftist ideologue, was completely open about this.

The above site purports to reprint testimony heard in the Illinois legislature on regionalism. One person who testified was Norman Dodd, who had investigated the leftist activities of tax-exempt foundations (Ford, Carnegie, Rockefeller, etc.) in 1953 as a member of a commission chaired by congressman Carroll Reece.
“Rep Hudson : Mr. Dodd, I have one question. You mentioned a proposed new Constitution, or federal charter, for this country, sort of waiting in the wings, you might say.
Mr. Dodd : Yes.
Rep Hudson: Is that the one... I have heard tell of a Tugwell type. Is that the one you refer to?
Mr. Dodd : That’s it, sir.”

The above link provides the text of H.R. 645, called the National Emergency Centers Establishment Act, which—
“shall establish not fewer than 6 national emergency centers on military installations.
(b) Purpose of National Emergency Centers- The purpose of a national emergency center shall be to use existing infrastructure—
(1) to provide temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance to individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster;
(2) to provide centralized locations for the purposes of training and ensuring the coordination of Federal, State, and local first responders;
(3) to provide centralized locations to improve the coordination of preparedness, response, and recovery efforts of government, private, and not-for-profit entities and faith-based organizations; and
(4) to meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security.”
I agree with other FReepers that Russia itself may collapse; but this is no consolation for some very disturbing trends in the U.S.
I prefer to connect the dots, admit that they form the pattern that they do, and start taking appropriate private action. I urge others on FR to do the same.
In the upcoming civil war, the role of "I Buried My Guns" will be played by himself. However, when the movie is made, I want my part to be played by Taylor Swift, cuz she is as cute as a bug!
