Just sent a short and sweet E-mail...
“Mr Steele, I pushed hard for your election as RNC chief. Your comments this weekend concerning Rush Limbaugh and his CPAC speech being “ugly and incendiary” makes me question my support. I am a lifelong Republican and have donated many dollars to the conservative cause.
If you do not publicly take those comments back the RNC will never see another dime in contributions from me, PERIOD.
This DC elitists vs. the rest of us has been brewing for a long time.

And Rahm Emanuel gets EXACTLY what he wanted. Rahm Emanuel could not have scripted this any better. Rush fullfilled Emanuel & Obama’s wishes.
I would be solidly behind a Conservative party if it meant the death of the current Republican party joke.
Why do some of you think this needs to be patched and puttied over post haste? If that didn't get the attention of main stream Republicans then nothing will and we would be better without the party.

Like Rush but am really tired of making millionaires out of Hannity and what I think are other also-ran opportunists who have their shtick down to a finely honed monotone.

That would be a dream come true! And, it wouldn’t just be republicans signing up, there are a lot of conservative independents like me and maybe even a few democrats who hurt for a party that represents them and their beliefs...and that old worn out piece of paper we reverently know as the Constitution.
I always thought he came across as wishy washy. Was he elected because he’s black?
I think we need Newt to lead the RNC .... or Tom Delay....Rick Santorum. Geez..there must be a ton of good conservatives who can forge a conservative message.

The Obama operatives are trying to (1) make Rush the defacto head of the GOP, then (2) use Alynski’s Rule #12 on him.
Rush just blew-up that gambit. {And had to rough-up Steele in the process.}
Michael Steele is not a conservative and he made the HUGE mistake in bad mouthing RUSH!
