The Colorado State house has been taken over by Democrats, Governor Bill Ritter Jr. (or just junior for short) is a real Obama kool-aid drinker and this last week as Colorado is dealing with a huge budget shortfall the state senate passed a bill to extend benefits to anyone who has sex with state employees. (I'm not sure if pets are covered - this was a benefit for employees who are apparently having a difficult time finding sex partners). Coincidentally the Rocky Mountain News will print their last edition this week. None of these circumstances bode well for the preservation of liberty in the big rectangle I like to call home.

Interesting.
Although when I read about my own state, I found the data incorrect.

Colorado?
Oddly, Colorado changed their laws not too long ago, such that they will not recognize a concealed-carry permit from another state if the holder of the permit is not a resident of that state. Also, Colorado does not issue non-resident permits.
As a result, Kalifornians, most of whom live in liberal-dominated counties which do not issue permits, are unable to carry in Colorado.
As much as I might like to visit Colorado, I will be spending my vacation money elsewhere, where I can keep and bear arms.
