It would require handgun and semi-auto owners to be thumbprinted at the police station and to sign a certificate that, effectively, the firearm will not be kept in a place where it would be available for the defense of the gun owners family.
What the heck?

Zero’s way to control the population and weaken even further:
-Takes our money
-Then our power (guns)
-Then our freedom
A modern day Hitler!!
Do not, I repeat do not EVER give up your firearms! i do not intend to...

Say goodbye to your hunting rifles also. Anything that could possibly penetrate a Kevlar vest. Like 30-30, 30-06, 223, etc.

Ahhhhh.....but where they are coming from is that the Constitution doesn’t say anything about ammunition. What the idiots don’t get is that a gun means nothing without the ammo.

Another bill written by a dem who thinks that a ‘semi-auto’ is a machine gun and if it has a magazine, it is an ‘assault weapon’.

What the heck?
I think it means you have a right to self defense with a properly registered muzzle loader (safely locked up of course) as long as the powder and ball are kept under lock and key in separate equidistant underground bunkers no less than 1000 yds from the dwelling.

Bee-Bee guns are illegal in NJ!! BTW, I had to get finger printed and purchase a firearms ID card in NJ to buy a shotgun or Rifle. Then you have to get another permit (only good for 90 days) to buy only one handgun per permit.
People, I do not think this will pass, but I did not think other crazy laws would either!
To: Scythian
you are allowed to defend yourself if attacked, as long as you get the attacker to fill out a form first, and you file it with the attorney general.
you got a problem with that?
To: snowrip
Don’t count on it being dead. it will be slipped into a stimulus kind of emergency bill nobody will have time to read.

A couple years back during the Malvo and Mohammad spree, I heard one of the newsloons on FOX proudly report that semiautomatic weapons are illegal for hunting anyway.

What the idiots dont get is that a gun means nothing without the ammo. Make no mistake, they understand that perfectly.
