OMG. Does the media really have nothing better to talk about. There is a financial “crisis” in this country, there is a war going on, people are losing jobs, the country is throwing billions of dollars into a stimulus that is like peeing in the wind and they find it important to tell us that Bobby Jindal had a sore throat and said so on an open mic. Oh the horrors, the hugh manitee.
I hate the media!!!
I agree with Techno’s comment. We can stop beating this dead horse now. It wasn’t a good speech, but he’ll make others in the future, some good, some bad.
The larger point (to me) is whether these “responses” are worth doing at all.
If you are anywhere around a microphone, or especially wired up with a wireless mic and transmitter, assume that anything you say is heard by someone, and may be going to tape.
It is a Baton Rouge local TV station, might be a hot topic down there.
Well, that explains his "tinny" voice that so many found irritating.
Having a severe sore throat right now myself, I can certainly sympathize with Bobby. I'm glad that the truth is getting out on this aspect of his response and why it may have fizzled.
