how long are politicians going to be sucker punched by live mikes?
sheesh people.
nothing harmful heard on mic, he said he had a bad sore throat.
Why is this a sucker punch? I don’t see anything wrong with what was caught on the microphone.
A sore throat explains the inconsistency in his voice, but then again I don’t think he did such a horrible job.
how long before our(conservative)politicians learn to cast away their handlers and speak from their hearts? They need to rely on their own values and principles, and just tell those D.C. loving handlers to shove off.
Let’s get past this silly speech. It didn’t go well... so what. He has 4, 8, 12 years to beef up his style, perfect his executive record and run nationally. He should take the time.
it’s not what he said, it’s the fact that the mike would have picked up anything he said... did he know he was broadcasting?
What if he said his scrotum was itchy?
What if he said obama was an blowhole? big time.
“I have just ordered the bombing of Russia. The attack begins in 5 minutes” ha ha ha
He should have just talked like he always does. He talks fast, and sounds smart. Somebody cleary told him to slow down and try talk more folksy. He ended up sounding like Al Gore.
Okay this story has run its course just like Palin’s interview with Couric has run way beyond its course.
Jindal had a bad night as Tiger Woods occasionally has had bad rounds. As Tiger is not ‘labelled’ as a loser or branded because of an isolated event, neither should Jindal or Palin be either. It is what it is.
Right after the debate I commented on HA and FR that Jindal had a bad night and why I thought he had a bad night. So did many of you. But I’m now in Rush’s corner. We can take this too far. This thread is too far.
Did you even bother to read it? From the article:
This could be a purposeful leak. If anything, it explains why he could have been a little off. He didn’t say anything incriminating, imho.
His delivery wasn’t the best, but the content was good. I don’t think one speech makes or breaks someone.
Jindal knows how to deliver a message.
Some of this feed goes to show that they pysched him up and overcoached him to a degree.
Nothing controversial said on the feed. Don’t see how this is a sucker punch.
Did you read what he said? He said he always assumes the mic’s are hot.
The governor was told that his mic could possibly be monitored by others. “That’s alright, like I said, I always assume the mics are hot,” he could be heard saying.
Actually, I think that what was captured on the hot mike is an excellent reason for the underwhelming tone/inflection/volume of his speech.
I now understand why he was so muted.
Thank you - he knew the mic was hot and said his throat hurt.
OMG - kick him out of the party!
Even as we speak, libs are conducting their “opposition research” on Jindal. That means that they are looking for things, true or false to crucify Jindal on.
They go back to GRADE SCHOOL to find someone who will say something true or false about their enemies! They ask neighbors. Any lib who works in a public office immediately knows what he/she must do: look in the files for something damaging, or that can be used to damage. They will never be arrested for it (Joe the Plumber’s license info!)
Don't worry about Bobby. The media won't be able to play gotcha with him.
