So, since the blacks have clearly proven themselves incapable of self-governance, does this mean that in order to rectify or even reverse the situation, we should reinstall White rule?

We should learn from the mistakes we made and stay out of
The condition of Zimbabwe is useful as reaffirmation of what we have seen happen over and over again in the last 100 years or more.

If the goal of western intervention and sanctions against Rhodesia was to install black rule we can say "Mission Acomplished"! It is an unqualified success.

If the goal was to improve the quality of life for millions of Africans it has been an utter failure and responsible for more suffering and brutal savagery than we will ever know.

Now, it is not up to us to do anything in Africa - we have enough problems here in the USA and our tinkering with governments throughout Africa always ends in making conditiions worse, not better.

We should keep out of it, stop pouring money down a bottomless hole and stop trying to push western concepts and political correctness on the rest of the world.

Should we return to that style of government for all of Africa, sans colonialism?

No. There are a lot of bad blacks in high government positions, but we don't want to tarnish all because of the actions of corrupt politicians. I would estimate that, for every Obama or Mugabe, there are 3 - 5 honest, hard-working, law abiding blacks who are more than capable of self rule.

Just not with either the likes or politics of either the Obamoron or his role model, Mugabe.
