Anyway, my lady friend and I had a great time this morning. There were patches of nice snow here. A little elevation made alot of difference in what was on the ground. Woke up with 4 inches on the hood of my car! As we got closer to town there was less and less. So we took Hwy 148 towards Bull Gap. That's to the Rebecca Mountains, the same range that Cheaha is on. You get to the top of Bull Gap and Cheaha is due northeast along the ridge of the mountain about 30 miles. The scenery was incredible! I was in my 4x4 but still almost lost it a time or two. And that was on what is normally pavement. Almost no traffic but at the top of the mountain we ran into a Jeep club that was out having fun. At the bottom of Bull Gap there was a Cadillac in about a 20’ deep ditch. Don't know when they ran off the road but no one was in the car. It had about 4 or 5 inches of snow on top so it had been there awhile. We stayed out about 3 or 4 hours and by the time we got back to town most of the snow was gone. Got some beautiful pics, wish I knew how to post them!
Does your camera connect to the computer?
We just took pics with her cell phone. I guess it connects. We were talking about that. She wants to make copies but we’re both ignorant on how. We took a couple of pics of us together. 1st pics of “us”. Got one of us kissing. She’s all excited about that. Women.....
“Everyone enjoy the snowfall?”
I moved down here in part to escape that foul four lettered word :)
Well, there should also be a ‘Send’ option where you send photos on a phone to some other phone...or address. Which includes e-mail.
Send it to your e-mail address.
Brief announcement from Southron Patriot about the tea parties!
Apparently the Tea Party meeting in Madison went well, and he and his fellows plan to have a rally on the 28th of March at the Rhodes Ferry Park in Decatur around noon.
To those in North Alabama, that’s your cue!
Like night and day.
DAILY REMINDER
For those in the Greater Birmingham Area, we have a meeting within the week!
Saturday, March 14 at 12:00 PM. Location is the Brookwood Mall in the Food Court. Its sandwiched between Lakeshore, I-65/HWY 31, and HWY 280; its right next to Sanford University.

We plan to talk about Tea Parties, possible methods of educating people about conservatism, and the organizing of public events (one suggestion was of a public forum to try and educate people about the economy, the history of free markets, past recessions...and the response to them. Of particular interest will be Hardings response to the 1920-21 recession, Hoover/FDRs response to the 1929 recession and how the Great Depression began, and Reagans response to the 1980-81 recession).
Also, a definite date for the Decatur Tea Party is out! Courtesy of Southron Patriot:

I can’t be there....I’m way up here by Little River Canyon which is so fogged in you can’t see the river. However, I want a report. Thanks for all that you do.
We are in front of Manchu Wok at the long table.ultra and his dad (me!)
I'm hoping the Bhan meeting is going/went well! Looking forward to an update. :)
Anyone heading to Fairhope for Arts and Crafts next weekend should post. Could meet and greet over funnel cakes and food on a stick! (if they even still sell that stuff at Arts and Crafts)
Had a nice meeting with Del4Hope — a truly remarkable and fascinating woman. Ultra and I were blessed to have the chance to spend time with her. Thanks, son, for doing what you do. You’ll make a difference in this world.
Well, not as many people showed up as the Ruby Tuesday meeting two weeks ago, but I blame a number of factors;
1) Spring Break just began for most schools, so it's family vacation time!
2) Wasn't specific enough about WHERE in the Food Court to meet.
3) Rain. Lots of it.
But del4hope showed up! So it wasn't a total loss.
It was just myself, ImaGraftedBranch, and del4hope for about an hour. A whole range of topics were discussed, including local politics, how one can trace much of the problems in our culture to the removal of prayer from public schools, the utter 'upside-down' nature of the world today, and musings about the ties between history and the current recession.
Mentioned was a possibility for our next gather: The Eagle Forum!
Eagle Forum is hosting a Leadership Conference on March 27.
This would be a prime opportunity to spread the word of Southron Patriot's Tea Party in Decatur, which would take place the very next day!

So some big events upcoming!
....I’m blushing....
and yes, job well done on the home training of your son
Well I got a reply from his office, and it seems that he has been chugging the Kool-Aid claiming that his records have been “verified” by Hawaiian officials and that his comments were not reported correctly by the Cullman Times.
He goes on to say: "Again, I am confident that President Obama is fully qualified for the Presidency, and that any matters relating to the issue have been thoroughly examined".
So, what flavor Kool-Aid do you think 0bama offered him?
