When the average Americans get their tax bills and realize that they are the greedy rich and not the ones the wealth is going to be redistributed to help.

The redistribution, of course, is only to Swiss and off shore bank accounts of commie activists.

“”Red Dawn is more like it.””

That would fit also. Seven Days in May was many years ago and I don’t remember the particulars. You must have seen it recently or have a great memory for movie lines. Red Dawn is old also but not as old and it does get replayed on TV a lot.

I referred to Seven Days in May simply in response to the other poster re an invasion of DC by our military.

Think I have to add that my husband and I watched Glenn Beck tonight before we ate dinner and it left things pretty unsettled here. Not comfortable with the premise of the show but if that’s what Glenn was trying to do, he must have hit a home run nationwide. It was not anything that we haven’t discussed between us of late but his scenario of 5 years away was the unsettling part.

It is not yet a “failed presidency” if success or failure is defined by Hussein’s goals. It will be a “failed” presidency if real socialism either fails to be imposed or is reversed before it does irreparable damage to America. History says that if he gets a lot, say socialization of Medicine and Finance, that even with a turnaround in Congress and eventually the presidency, those things will remain shackles on America forever. If that happens then, even if Hussein is voted out decisively he will not be a failure. He has already got Government oversight of the minutiae of medicine and the right of the government to decide who lives and who dies, who gets treatment and who will not and what treatment each person can/will get. That will never be reversed. He has got socialized medicine without changing the way it is paid for. He has gone a long way toward nationalizing the banks. So far he is a success.

I feel your pain. Every time the stupid bastard or someone in his administration opens his mouth my portfolio goes down another 5%.

Rush is right, but who will be the standard bearer for the conservative movement?

At this point it is Rush. And he needs to stay right where he is and stay the hell out of participatory politics. He is doing wonderfully well right where he is doing what he does.

I agree with you in that I thought it would take six months before I would be laughing at the demise of Obambi. But one month!

Unfortunately, I’m also crying about what is happening to our great country.

No. If the Constitution is declared suspended or the Court defied, then Yes. Or if/when the current government moves to use the military against the citizenry.

Tell me about it!

I would really have loved to hear what Michael Ignatiff (the liberal leader) and Zero discussed.

He was complaining (he is a liberal after all) that he was only getting 15 mins with Zero, and that Harper had 20 Mins. with W, back when he was leader of the opposition. LOL!

The government shouldn’t take tax payer money to bailout greedy bankers or greedy homeowners. This is a slippery slope that will end up sending our economy off a cliff.

Scenarios.

Our next election is seen by Average Joe to be a fraud and he gets mad enough to join a revolution, and doesn’t want to wait till 2012 to get rid of Obama and they impeach him.

We get enough Dems thrown out in 2010 to crimp Obama and then throw him out in 2012.

Obama suffers a nervous breakdown and Biden takes over and people can’t suffer him and throw him out in 2012.

The meteor hits in 2012 instead of near missing and we need military law.

I know enough about the military to seriously doubt they will go along with a coup coming from their ranks during the four years of this administration. And without the consent of the military, a revolution beyond the ballot box can’t win.

That is exactly what it is designed to do and is supposed to do.

Everyone says we lost this election for this or that reason, but the answer my husband gives and is angry no one else seems to understand is

Media, media, media.

We need to focus on getting control of more organs of information and propaganda. Even conservatives don’t seem to realize how thoroughly the lefties have infiltrated every organ of information, even down to Astronomy magazine and NASA.

They have the means and use it to brainwash the public. The public will not change its view if they never hear anything but CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, Hollywood and TV land and their school and college teachers.

A frog march to the gallows, I hope! This will have to be one heckuva huge revolution to accomplish that though.
