They want things to remain bad for about the first 9 months of his presidency, up to Sep 09 probably. They don’t want any talk that any recovery had already begun under GW Bush. The economy was in real danger of recovering, but they killed it.
Another point is that a terrible economy enables them to call it a crisis and enact desperation measures that steal freedom from Americans.
Can Obama talk about this issue? NO. He owes his winning the election to the same fraudster-bankers that he would need to clean out.
He’s trying to cover his butt when his plan doesn’t work.
What he doesn't realize is the lessons history has revealed for those who bother to know it and that is: More government, more power. More power; more control. More control; more corruption. More corruption; more abuse. More abuse; more dissent and so on. As the status becomes more drastic so do the measures.
One thing that is predictable is the unpredictable nature of man.
Of course when President Bush was unfailingly optimistic and upbeat, speaking positively in regard to our economy, when he kept a stiff upper lip during all the ups and downs the past 8 years, when he praised Americans and their strength, or when he diligently worked to solve problems, when he acted like a leader and a President, when he saw all the good in America and her people, he was mercilessly pilloried from both sides of the isle.
Quit telling pres__ent zer0 how to do his job. He made it this far, let him sink or swim. Treat him as you did President Bush.
pres__ent = president without the ID. Hat tip to musicman
The very essence of his philosophy and faith is anti-American, anti-Judeo/Christian values, and most importantly anti-God.
He will not learn from President Reagan or from the coaches of any sport.
Just exactly right!
Some of us have been sounding that alarm for many months. We were ignored or put into the tin foil hat column.
WHY DOES OBAMA TALK DOWN THE ECONOMY?
That is exactly how Socialist rule. Fear and intimidation is a standard policy, Just look at any Socialist nation and you can see that Obama is ruling in the same manner as their rulers do.
He’s talking it down because he wants to bring it down.
Not by me....
And jihad camps all over America....with this putz in charge is hardly heartening either

Hussein needs a declining economy. It makes it easier to install full fledged fascistic socialism. The man is a Marxist with a Mussolini slant, so far.
No - you were part of the "some of us" I referred to. ;*)
I've been reading about the jihad camps, but I'm unable to do video or audio at the present time. Will keep the link for later. Thanks!
He’s flying out to Denver to make a big to-do out of signing his “stimulus” bill. Meanwhile back on Wall Street..... the futures are down 220.

Obama’s Rhetoric Is the Real ‘Catastrophe’
In 1932, automobile production shriveled by 90%.

President Barack Obama has turned fearmongering into an art form. He has repeatedly raised the specter of another Great Depression. First, he did so to win votes in the November election. He has done so again recently to sway congressional votes for his stimulus package.
In his remarks, every gloomy statistic on the economy becomes a harbinger of doom. As he tells it, today’s economy is the worst since the Great Depression. Without his Recovery and Reinvestment Act, he says, the economy will fall back into that abyss and may never recover.
This fearmongering may be good politics, but it is bad history and bad economics. It is bad history because our current economic woes don’t come close to those of the 1930s. At worst, a comparison to the 1981-82 recession might be appropriate. Consider the job losses that Mr. Obama always cites. In the last year, the U.S. economy shed 3.4 million jobs. That’s a grim statistic for sure, but represents just 2.2% of the labor force. From November 1981 to October 1982, 2.4 million jobs were lost — fewer in number than today, but the labor force was smaller. So 1981-82 job losses totaled 2.2% of the labor force, the same as now.
He’s just a black version of Jimmuh Carter. God help us.
LOL!! Piss be upon The Kenyan!
I think you’re right. Now he finds himself the leader of the system he has been fighting against all his life. He’s in distruction mode against the system. But what will be created in the vaccuum? Anarchy?
