OK. I will try to keep in mind what you’re saying. You obviously know more about this than I do. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks. That sounds more like the reports I have read here on FR in the last couple of years. Is anyone really surprised that the gov is blowing smoke up our skirts about what they’re doing?

Dont feel bad. I knew something was wrong during the boom 2005 but didnt know what, no one would tell us. Then after the crash both parties pointed fingers but I noticed neither predicted crash. After the election this guy educated me and hundreds of freepers and thousands around the world. He predicted the crash and why it would happen in early 2006:

Peter Schiff Was Right 2006 - 2007 (2nd Edition)

Peter Schiff (”Obama will be more of the same, but worse”)

This is why we feel betrayed by R party and democrat party is evil so we cant turn there.

“But he is still there. RonPaul did not and does not know what it means for this nation to be the lone superpower of nations and the last defense for ‘freedom’ around this globe.”

“Clintonism was the stated public policy of ‘equalizing all nations’, and that is exactly what the Clintons set in motion.”

On one hand you imply that our defense policy is for freedom around the globe (ie. democratic liberation), then in a separate sentence you state that Clintonism was bad because it had a goal of equalizing all nations. You sound very confused.

Can you tell me what freedom purpose it served us to build the Kama River (military) truck plant in the USSR at the height of the cold war, with taxpayer funding? Did you even read Paul’s speech?

“His Iraq policy was NOT for our economy, because what was at stake was the ‘free’ flow of the economic engine of this globe oil.”

A ridiculous statement. We have oil here. Lots of it. We have coal here. Lots of it. We have wind, solar, nuclear, gas hydrates, oil shale etc etc. There is no need to import energy from anywhere else in the world.

You must be very young or you slept through Clintonism. Clintons policy of equalizing all nations had nothing to do with the US best interests it was about making US one and the same as the rest of the world..

Our defense policy is about protecting US, which the Clintons did everything in their power to slash and trash as much of the military as they could get through Congress. In the event we are forced to literally defend US and as result we break things, it is in our best interest to assist in the bottom up review in establishing a civil society before we leave.

You want to talk about wasted taxpayer dollars, look at government controlled public education.

So this fing moron threw his vote away on Ron Paul (effectively giving the Dems another vote) and still wants to blame GWB and the Republicans.
I voted for Paul in the primaries .

It isn’t necessary to defend Ron Paul against the likes of flaming liberal juveniloids such as yourself.

RE :”Bush’s party? The party belongs to the President?

This Bush-bot doesnt even know the president is leader of his party. He is a programmed robot told that Bush is great so you cant contradict that. Bush is a hero and a victim to him both.

Yeah I know, you just have to shake your head in sadness sometimes... and they wonder why the GOP continues to lose. If they can't see the error of their party's leadership and move on then the GOP is going to be floundering for awhile.

TigersRear has insulted me a few times when I contradicted his programming. A Mark Levin model I guess, everyone is wrong but me (Levin) so only listen to me, if youy dont you are a moron.

I listened to Rush since 1992 and talk radio is very valuable in opposition to democrats as well as entertaining . But I learned, as example here, when R party has power and gets the country and party in deep trouble, then certain radio talk show hosts beat the circle the wagons drum, "it's ALL the media, and stupid voters faults not GWB who is great man holding to his principles ".Hannity and Levin even told robot listeners Rs would win both elections in 2006+2008 when it was obvious since 2006 that 2008 election would be a disaster largely because of GWB. GWB also wined and dined these hosts to keep their loyalty.

You got this small group of robots that just believe what they are told. The theme is that if Bush had vetoed a few domestic spending bills, instead of promoting them as he did, all would be well. Another is that they tell me Bush did what "was right" and the losses were all liberals and turncoats faults. They are taught to ignore ordinary voters views and opinions completely.

Dont misunderstand, GWB spending was a huge problem, he thought he was buying love or a legacy. And it causes GOP and national problems today. But I have come to believe his 'put the country into debt' actions came out of :1) a belief he had to do BIG things, 2) disapproval of him over Iraq and other stuff (gas prices),rebuild Iraq 3) because he sold country that " government is free."(No taxes at all for many americans, tax cuts for Hollywood stars, two wars at same time, rebuilding Iraq, all on someone else's dime)

He put himself in a corner he couldnt buy his way out of, no matter how much debt he put the country in , the liberals demanded more.

The Hannity-bots view of this? Invading, rebuilding Iraq, huge wasteful defense contracts were all critical. And all tax cuts under any circumstances are good, all defense contracts are good, and any other spending is bad, but not GWB's fault someone elses. So their super patriotic position is in effect, "the wars were both critical, as is massive military spending, but dont expect ME to pay MORE taxes to fund them because that would be bad for the economy". So in a sense they (GWB and the Hannity Great Americans) NEVER funded our troops. They charged it to someone else. So everyone else put their hands out asking . "Where's mine??"

And dont forget the 'borrow and spend' conservative golden Santa Claus rule. "All tax cuts pay for themselves and even more spending" as the national debt climbs. And now Pelosi claims that the stimulus spending will INCREASE tax revenues. Sound familiar?? Same free lunch!
