Man CNN made a mistake not keeping this guy.

He is a gem.

Beck is a regular guy and tells it like it is plus he is funny and enjoyable to watch—great addition to FNC. It is like he is one of us.

It amazes me how much he is like Tony Snow.

Humble, witty, knowledgeable.

Looks like the next segment is with the father of the girl who went missing in Mexico.

The dad believes she was given to a drug lord as a gift.

Beck broke down while talking to him.

I think he broke down not only because the girl was kidnapped and given to a drug cartel leader as a Gift, but mostly because CNN wouldn’t follow up on the story, I think actually refused to look into it. Fox network has reporters on it and a committed network to find out.

I agree with you Cordio. I saw a few folks complaining about all the tears but this issue was very personal with him.

He has been on the case for two years and this is the first time he has the backing of a news network.

I’ve met Glenn. He is a very kind, warm, decent person. He is what we need to help people see the light of conservatism. He tells it like it is. He can be serious and hilarious as well. He will do very well at FOX.

Nellie, give him a few weeks and I think he will get better viewing numbers than Sean Hannity.

I will not be surprised if Glenn get Sheps time slot before the end of the summer.

you got it blackhawk.

I am going to start a daily thread beginning Mondays.

I am a school teacher, and we have parent conferences next week, so there will be a couple days that I am not going to be able to post them.

Beck was the best addition FNC could have made. He has a great sense of humor. He upsets me sometimes with his bi-partisan “can’t we just all get along rants” but I can’t stay upset with him. I don’t believe in bi-partisanship when the other side is completely wrong (and unconstitutional).

However, when he is on fire there is nobody better in the business and if fellow freepers are not watching him or don’t catch his radio program they are cheating themselves.

I have been listening to him for years here in Houston and TiVo his show every day ...he is awesome and voices things that normal americans think.

he’s the only one who would say there really was a recession. it took the bottom to fall out before others would even say you know we may have some issues.

A School Teacher huh. I was a teach for about two years in a Technical trade school. When I accepted the position I thought I had it made. I mean how hard could it be right? Read out of the book(Electronics) and answer a few questions. I knew Electricity and Electronics inside and out so it was going to be easy street. Most difficult, mind taxing, beat me with a dead trout, job I have ever had, and I have had some doozies.

Also the most satisfaction when all but one of my students aced the final. The one student who didn't ace got one wrong and argued for two days till he finally convinced me and two other instructors that his answer was also correct.

My hat goes off to you.

O’Reilly is pushing for Glenn right now but you watch, in the future when Glenn's show is outdoing Bill, if he stays civil about the whole thing. I picture Glenn passing Greta this first year.

I really like Glenn. He is my favorite show on both television and radio and I think he speaks from his heart instead of a textbook.

He is a great conservative but if you listen to him long enough you will understand what I said. He periodically goes through a phase where he says labels don’t matter and we should meet in the middle. He is wrong about that. I could care less about labels and Glenn himself has said it many times “right is right and wrong is wrong”.

That said I love the guy and so does my wife. We were thrilled to see him on Fox and still scratch our heads that CNN ever let him do his show. His book “An Inconvenient Book” was great also.

A talented, fun, and real guy who I hope is on the airwaves for a long time.

I am only a recent viewer of his (I caught a few of his CNN shows) but I think I know what you mean. A couple of times I kind of shook my head and tried to figure out where he got that idea from.

..but the proof is in the pudding and I like the flavor he is serving up right now.
