The problem is that Congress (and the Great and Powerful "0") seem to believe that PORK is a VERB

And yet more damaging to Obama's image than all the hypocrisies in the appointment process is his signature bill: the stimulus package. He inexplicably delegated the writing to Nancy Pelosi and the barons of the House. The product, which inevitably carries Obama's name, was not just bad, not just flawed, but a legislative abomination.

I wish people would stop repeating this myth. Pelosi gave Barry the bill he wanted. Rahm Emanuel, Obama's right-hand man, was Nancy's errand boy in the House. She's didn't write this bill without the WH's input, she wrote it at their input.

It's nothing more than a game of good cop, bad cop. Barry pretends to be interested in consensus and Republican input and Pelosi writes a purely partisan bill.

Anyone who was paying attention knew that Obama wanted to expand the welfare state. Whenever he was asked if he supported reparations he would say:

“I consistently believe that when it comes to whether it’s Native Americans or African-American issues or reparations, the most important thing for the U.S. government to do is not just offer words, but offer deeds.”

...“You know, I have said in the past, and I’ll repeat again, that the best reparations we can provide are good schools in the inner city and jobs for people who are unemployed. And I think that strategies that invest in lifting people out of the legacy of slavery and Jim Crow, but that have brought applicability and allow us to build coalitions to actually get these things done, that, I think, is the best strategy.” - Barack Obama

Obama hasn't been victimized in the process by Pelosi, he's an active participant. Does anyone honestly believe that if Obama really wanted to cut some spending out of the bill Pelosi wouldn't give him what he wants?

We're being played here folks. They're are using the bad economy to cram down our throats the 1st down payment on the social spending that Barry has always said he wanted.

she wrote it at their input.

Should read "at their direction."
